Q: Could we use the base (design tosc. classic statuary garden plinth base riser, large 15 in, poly) in a garden under david's bust? if so, how to glue?

Thank you for your inquiry about Design Toscano's Bust of Michelangelo's David Statue. This statue is not intended for outdoor use. Also, the base of this state is 15.5 inches wide X 13 inches deep. The top surface of the Large Classic Plinth is 12 inches by 12 inches so there would be more that 3 inches of overhang with this plinth.

Q: Is this really made of cast iron and can it be placed outdoors or is it too small for that?

I wouldn't call her a garden statue, since her smaller size would probably get lost among the plants if you put her on the ground. I have mine on a bench next to a birdhouse near potted plants. I consider her a patio figurine. She is beautiful and quite heavy for her size, so yes on the cast iron. I bring her inside in the rainy season, mainly because I don't want to go out in the rain to look at her.

Q: Where can I buy the base?

The base is attached to the statue and is not sold separately. I would recommend contacting designtoscano.com
