A Tryst of Fate (The Xanth Novels Book 45)

I owe the Ogre so much its hard to clearly express. A favorite Aunt gifted me with a book club hardcover of Omnivore when I was 13, making me learn to open my two volume dictionary whenever I found another book by Anthony. His whimsy and breadth of knowledge were a steady joy in my life even before he began letting his fans peek over his shoulder with his wonderful Author's Notes. I wish Him all the joy and wonder He has brought me over the past 54 years.

A more adult themed Xanth tome, but enjoyable with the expected puns and difficult choices. It was nice to see more of Squid as an important presence even if not the protagonist.

This was another brilliant addition to the Xanth saga. The characters were engaging as usual; and a contest between Demons is always mischief, but fun to be apart of.

I bought a Tryst of Fate,for two reasons, one its Another great novel by Piers Anthony, two its another Wonderful Book in his Xanth series, and I will be buying more New Xanth series Books from Amazon.

As with all piers Anthony books this one was very satisfying
