so we figured the best approach to getting her scalp covered was to get ...
We got this sunscreen for my redheaded toddler. She moves around a ton, so we figured the best approach to getting her scalp covered was to get the spray in kind that we can then rub in as she squirms around. We really appreciate the fact that this spray does work. However, the nozzle has a thin spray, so we have to squirt it maybe ten-15 times to cover her whole head. That's a lot with a squirmy little one. I'd rather it have a wider spray that coats with fewer pumps.I also think we are about to run out of it and we've only used it three times. Arg. It's pricey for something that may not last us an entire week at the beach. Her hair was super-super greasy after we put the spray on. We expect that, but just know that you may want to wash it off as soon as you get home from whatever you're doing. Because of how greasy it is, we won't use it unless we can wash it off immediately after use. So if we are going to the park, we will opt for a hat. If we are spending the day at the beach, we can do the spray. It was hard to get a picture of our little wiggle worm, but I tried. The photo is about halfway through the application.

Baby scalp SPF
This product is a must have with little ones around. Keeps their little heads well protected from the sun while enjoying the pool or just playing outside! A nice size bottle to pop in a bag and take anywhere with you!

My kid refuses to wear hats these days and who wants their kid walking around with super greasy hair
I should have read the reviews before buying this. Searched for HOURS trying to find a scalp spray with SPF for my baby. Was excited to finally find this but got it today and it is basically a lotion that sprays on you. It's greasy (which is exactly why I didn't want to just rub lotion on her hair) so you cannot use this on babies (or anyone) with actual hair. My kid refuses to wear hats these days and who wants their kid walking around with super greasy hair??? Definitely bummed. This is no different than just regular sunscreen only they've put it in a spray bottle.

Not really a "spray"
I was looking for something that I could spray on my toddler's head and protect her hair and scalp without it making her hair look look clumpy. But it doesn't really spray, it shoots out in globs so I still have to rub it into the right places. I ended up having to spray it in my palm and then place it where I want it which I could have done with normal sunscreen. The sunscreen itself is fine and protects as it says it will.

It stung my scalp
After my first use, I noticed that it stung my scalp. Perhaps it has an ingredient that I'm allergic to. The same stinging sensation occurred when I used another popular brand of hair product that's on the market today. I am an adult who has very sensitive skin and I have to wear sunblock daily. Most of them irritate my skin, and since I have been successful with a few baby sunblocks, I thought perhaps this one would be fine for my scalp so I would not have to wear a hat all summer.

it's a white cream
Don't have a child. I have a sensitive scalp but I didn't want to put a white cream in my hairstill searching for an spf spray for my scalp w/o alcohol

My dermatologist recommended this, and it's great
My dermatologist recommended this, and it's great. The only scalp sunscreen I'll use--still leaves some white spots and greasiness, but that's to be expected.

awful, sticky lotion that won't spray!
This is worse than any other good sun-lotion spray that you can use on the rest of your toddler's body. Basically nothing sprays out of the bottle because the consistency of the lotion is too think. And even worse -- it's WHITE, so it sticks and stains your toddler's hair and scalp. I do not recommend this to anyone.
