I've bought camping hammocks that range in price from $20-100. The major difference between the $100 hammocks and these is the quality of stitching. These are stitched 3 times on the edges (where the red meets the blue) the $100 hammocks are usually stitched 4 or 5 times.I've yet to be able to measure or evaluate the difference that the stitching provides. They all seem to swing, seat, and sleep the same to me. Having said that, why spend $100 when you can spend $20.One thing I really like about this one is that the straps can be stored in the hammock bag so you don't have a strap and a hammock bag. Let's be honest no one is hanging these hammocks with rope and even if they are they don't want to have to pack that separate from the hammock.

I reviewed this hammock in September 2015 and the company has made some improvements to the hammock since that time. So I am updating my review in February 2016 and posting new pictures to reflect those changes to the product.The first hammock I purchased was an ENO double hammock for myself and absolutely loved sleeping in it. I wanted to get my husband one and came across this Simple Life hammock that looked similar in design but it included the straps for less money.Simple Life Outfitters included straps with the first hammock I bought from them (Premium 2 person), however, I did not like them as much as my ENO Atlas straps. They did not have any loops for adjustments and were hard to get equal if using trees of different sizes when hanging. Simple Life Outfitters made changes to these in their Ultimate 2 person hammock and it's a great improvement. Their new straps in the Ultimate hammock now make hanging the hammock easy. You simply wrap the strap around the tree, put the end of it through the metal loop and then you have multiple loops available to hook your hammock to. You can literally set the hammock up in about 1 minute. The new straps are a great addition and save you a lot of money. They also are safe to use and will not damage the tree. If I could change anything about them, I would add a few more adjustable loops, so when hanging on a small tree, you don't have to double loop.The hammock comes in it's own carry bag, which is made right onto the hammock. It's easy to pack back up, and you can use the bag to hold your cell phone, keys or flashlight at night while you sleep. The carry bag fits the straps as well. It has a compression strap on it. I was able to compress it down to approximately 6" tall x 5" thick x 5" wide. One complaint - the strap does not stay very good in the buckle that you use to compress it. When I compare it to the ENO sack, they have double thickness at the end of the strap and I believe that is what prevents theirs from slipping back out.The hammock weighs in at 2lbs 8.5oz.The hammock is officially a 2 person hammock and will hold up to 400 pounds. I wanted this size just for myself, as I like having lots of room and being able to pull the extra material over top of me at night for sleeping. It can easily accommodate 2 people if you so desire, measuring in at 115x83".And what's the most important thing about this hammock? Comfort! If you have back problems and camping on the ground hurts, try this! Heck, if you have back problems and you don't camp, you might want to install it in your house! I feel like I've had a chiropractic work done in the night. I wake up with my back feeling years younger!In comparing the ENO DoubleNest to the Simple Life Outfitters Ultimate Hammock for Two, I think the quality is very similar and they will perform the same. The advantage you'll find with this Ultimate Hammock is the price. It's much cheaper and it includes the hammock straps! I paid $30 extra for these with the ENO.I purchased my first Simple Life Outfitters Premium hammock full price and gave it a 5 star review.I received a discount on this Simple Life Outfitters Ultimate hammock and I'm leaving it a 5 star review as well, because they've made it even better than the Premium version. Nice improvements, Simple Life! Now can you make a hammock under quilt to help us hammock lovers out during cold weather camping?

Would have gotten 5 stars but they sent me the wrong color. I ordered Black/Khaki and got a green/grey, not a big deal but enough so that cant give perfect score.However! This product is a pretty good value, I ordered this one and a slightly more expensive one from another seller which I had to buy straps separately, and this one was not only of the same quality as the more expensive but the straps I felt were on the same level as the ones I bought separately. Save yourself money and buy this one as it comes with everything you need.I can not stress enough though about how much larger this one is then the other more expensive competitors 2 person/400lb version is. MY wife and I could sit in this one comfortably in the other one we could not. As I said save your self 30$ and buy this one with the straps included for the same quality as the competitors cost of; $69+$20(straps).

This hammock is awesome. I was excited to test it out as soon as I received it. It is extremely well made, I searched high and low and couldn't find a loose stitch o single defect. As lightweight as is it is, I wanted to give a thorough look before I set it up and hopped in it. I strung it up between two posts in our pergola with all the included hardware. Setup was very easy and only took a few minutes. It's hard to believe that something so lightweight can support the weight it does. I climbed in and all my concern was immediately gone. It was strong, secure, and amazingly comfortable. I did take it down and pack it up when I was done, it doesn't seem like a product that should be left out in the weather. As simple as it is to put up and take down there is no reason to leave it out. Everything went back into the attached carry bag without issue. I would defiantly suggest this hammock, its lightweight, comfortable, and extremely well made. Highly recommendedI received the hammock at a discount in exchange for testing and reviewing the product.

I compared a similar Nylon Hammock and settled on this one. This hammock is great! I'm 6' 2" and this hammock and plenty of length to fit me and even a little more, and width is perfect for two people. I live in the south and a great thing about this material is that it stays cool also! everything is easy to set up and also super easy to store once you're done with it!The hammock comes with TWO long straps to wrap around a tree with continuous loops for you can place the hammock exactly where you need it. It also comes with TWO carabiners that have so far held 320lbs, with no issues, and a bag that is built into the hammock.The only CON I currently have with the Hammock is the the plastic buckle on the carrying bag doesn't stay on very well, but it's easy to remedy or look past.

A ENO hammock is around $70 without the straps, where this hammock is significantly cheaper WITH straps and about the same quality and comfort. So, I highly recommend this hammock to save some money and still get an excellent product.I will note that this double nest hammock seems like it has less wide than most double nest hammocks - so while two people can easily fit inside, do not expect to be able to throw enough material over you as a covering and expect it to stay.
