Great Small Computer with Excellent Build Quality and Very Quiet
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had an Intel NUC that went belly up on me, so I looked into what was available now, and found this computer. It is a little bigger than the NUC I had, but it has worked flawlessly since I plugged it in the first time and turned it on. Every so often, when I'm doing something CPU intensive, I put my hand on the computer and it never gets very warm at all. The only thing I would suggest is adding more USB C ports, since almost everything I'm hooking up to it uses them. Great value!Heat level:Stays room temperature even when doing intense work.Computer quality:Solid build and very quiet!Usb ports:Need to add more USB C ports, since almost all peripherals are moving in that direction.

Great Hardware, but sorry OS
UPDATE: Blue Iris runs fine on this box. I have 12 cameras and the CPU% never exceeds 10% even with AI turned on. One bad thing that ruins everything is that there is no way to get it to turn back on after a power loss. I looked in BIOS, but there is nothing there. I have a UPS, but it only goes about an hour and today we had a power outage lasting 62 minutes. So I had to drive all the way back just to push the power button. BeeLink should be ashamed of themselves for that one.I have also installed GPT4ALL which is an offline chatGPT program. It works, but it is a bit slow. For GPT, the 16GB RAM is a bit small and 43GB would be better.==========The box came today and I haven't fully tested it. What I have seen of it says that it is a fast box. No problem playing youtube videos at 1080P in full screen. The biggest flaw is that it comes with Windows 11. Upon starting the box for the first time, it stops during the setup and says to enter your Microsoft Account. I don't have one and if I did, I wouldn't give them the password. It no longer has a SKIP button so you can't easily bypass it. Fortunately I found out that you can pull the power cord, then network cord and then plug it back in. This time, it will squeal for you to give it your wifi password, but I refused. It finally let me in without signing my privacy over to Microsoft. Once there, windows update worked fine. I got the box to see if it would be fast enough to run Blue Iris software. I have not yet tested that. I will write back if that does not work. This will be a Blue Iris box and I wont have to mess with the OS on a regular basis. I would not want to use Win 11 for a desktop OS. The manufacturer allows people to upgrade to Win 10. If I had to use it as a desktop, I would do that or else install MX Linux.

Beelink GTi12 Mini PC - Fast Operator, Fast Ram, Fast SSD, Great Features + Fingerprint Bio Security
I guess you could say I'm a big fan of these Beelink Mini PC's since this is the 3rd one I've bought through Amazon. My first was their GTR7 Pro with the Ryzen 9 chip for me and then I bought my Wife their SR7 Mini PC. While I'm not a big fan or very familiar with the Ryzen Chips, they did perform great and completely wowed me. This time I upgraded to the GTI12 Mini and what a great value. This thing is FANTASTIC and very fast and responsive and No Bloatware. It has plenty of peripheral ports for USB, USB-C and USB-C Thunderbolt 4 on the back and plenty of HDMI and Network ports as well. I was concerned when I saw reviews about issues with WiFi but I haven't experienced any issues what so ever and we have 1GB WiFi Speed at the house. I've paired this with a UPERFECT 22 inch portable 2K monitor and my Samser's Foldable Keyport and MS Arch mouse. My 1 preference that I had that drove me to this model is that it has an SD Card Reader which is important to me because I do a lot of photography, and it has the fingerprint (biometric) reader for security when locked. This is a very quite beast of a PC and it does not appear to get hot at all. I am not a gamer so I cannot state how well it is for gaming but it is a powerehouse for editing RAW photos and Videons. For the price, reliability, ease of setup, expandability, and speed, this is definitely the one to buy. I will be adding another 2GB Lexmark drive to the extra bay soon. I'm not going to spend the extra money for the special graphics card dock that I've seen because I don't really need that for what I use it for.
