Q: I have an esp13 rainbird controller is this rain senor conpatible?

I use my WR2 Rainbird rain and freeze sensor on a Rainbird SST-600i controller and it works great - have saved a lot on the water bill this year with all the rainy days, but have also kept the yard watered on the dry hot days without having to touch the controllers. As for using the WR2 Rainbird rain and freeze sensor on the ESP 13 controller, I do not have first hand experience with this, but in reviewing the manuals for the ESP 13 controller and WR2 Rainbird rain and freeze sensor, the manuals indicate it is recommended for those controllers and the manuals provide connection instructions. Q: Are there replament discs since wr2 disk assembly - #637810s is no longer available even though the manufacture still sells this rain sensor (??!!)

Go to ebay and search Hygroscopic Disks and you'll find plenty of just the Discs. You can get a pack of 5-10 for $5 and they'll make your sensor work as new.

Q: Mine is sst-600in, does it work with this model? i can directly connect the sensor to it or i need to buy a transformer?

I spliced the sensor power wires into the wires running from the transformer powering the controller. Works fine, no additional transformer needed.

Q: What is the difference between the 553000 & 553100?

The A553000 was the old version WR2RC which was a rain sensor only. The A553100 is the new WR2RFC rain & freeze sensor. Rain Bird only sells the newer A553100 now.
