Prudance Outdoor Solar Led Light

This light was a very easy install..a simple set screw right into the gutter. Many items are using LED technology these days as LEDs use less power than incandescent lights or even halogens. When it's dark (very dark) and impossible to see to get the key into the lock, this light is wonderful. It's "bright enough" for me to do the job, but not so bright someone might notice it and maybe want to take it.It's supposed to withstand weather and I'm hoping it will. I've had mine installed for only about a week. It got rained on a couple times and it's still fine.Editing on November 27, 2014: I knocked it down to 4 stars as mine quickly (2,3 weeks) developed a bad connection out of the battery compartment. To fix I bought a single holder for the AA NiCad battery it came with and soldered small zip cord (maybe 22 gauge) inside onto the battery terminals, then ran it inside (the porch) to a switch. It's back to working and doing it this way allowed its internal on/off switch to turn the light on at dark on off at dawn.With this bit of extra effort I'm hoping it'll continue to work as fine as it had been.If I ended up getting 5-6 months out of this light I'd still buy another. Maybe my battery compartment was a bit not-great, but it's ok now that it's repaired.Also, mine stays on all night, and checking it at 5am it was still on fine (it had been on for 12 hours at that point).

Most reviews on this is that it is not bright enough, well this is true for a spot light. i have four over my patio to light the way to my front door. there is no tripping in the dark when the porch light is not on, but hard to see which key it is for the door. having them on the gutter is nice, you dont have to weed wack aroubd them.

Received this little light and hung it on my gutter. It was easy, just got the old ladder out and hung it up there to charge up. The light gives a good light off until after a few hours and it dims down but it serves the purpose I need it for.

I like the Outdoor Solar powered LED light, but without a ladder it is a bit difficult (for me) to put on a gutter. Placed on an outside fence post, it does provide a small amount of light but it must be facing sun from the south. A good product, offer many suggestions for use.

This light installs easily onto the roof's rain gutter. Looks like it will light up entire window, but shines a little bit of it. And, it's still pretty dark out there at night so this light doesn't get 5 stars.

Purchased two of these lights. Both lights the batteries are having shorts in essence they will not not charge. One of the lights has a switch that was overheated on installation therefore, will not function. I spent many years in electronics as a technician and functional tester. These lights are a great idea but need more attention to assembly and components. I would avoid this product at this time. Thank you! : )

One light is working ok on one side and the other is not. I have replaced the batteries, etc. It is easy to put up, not a problem at all. Very useful and bright for solar light, would have wanted it a little bigger to cover more space.

Product exactly a stated. They were a gift so I can not yet give feedback on just how bright they are and how durab;e they are going to be.

I bought this product for my daughter who was looking for some lights for their back deck. They live in BC and wanted something that was environmentally friendly. They arrived very quickly and packaged well. She commented they give the right amount of light without being too bright. She would definitely buy again. Overall a great product for the price.
