Q: Does this grinder come in a box ? I want to purchase it for a gift but only if it comes in a box.

Mine didn’t come in a box. But, it is amazing!

Q: Does the grind adjuster really work

If it can be adjusted I haven't found out how. Bu the fine grain it puts out works for us. We have Hawaiian sea salt and peppercorns in it.

Q: Ordered, never arrived. It says delayed but I don't think it was ever shipped??

My order came in 3 days, no problem at all. Maybe it was an isolated incident

Q: it looks like they separate...do they?

I am not able to separate them. Mine is just one piece. The smaller silver rings below the larger/bigger silver are twistable/removeable in order to fill with your rock salt and /or peppercorns - the larger silver contains the grinding mechanism for each spice. Appears to be much sturdier than others I have tried before. I am very pleased with mine. There are caps over both ends, which I really like - no pepper or salt all over the countertop. The picture is not a confussing representation of what I have
