Fun for a caterpillar lesson!
We love these! Well made and no assembly required! Fun to pair with a caterpillar book! The size is great for the price! They are not super tiny which is a plus! No color fading or chipping paint after years of play!

Educational
This was perfect for showing my grandkids the lifecycle of a butterfly. It’s not large in size, but details are amazing. Would recommend

Perfect for purpose intended
(Note: There are only 5 stages included in the set; the additional stages displayed were homemade and added, as a more detailed visual was required in this specific instance and intended purpose of use)These are great! Our little girl used them on her Science Fair Project display board. She absolutely loved them and so did everyone else - children and adults. They definitely help create an informative visual and contribute heavily to the creation of an eye-grabbing display (without compromising the health, safety, or overall well-being of live tadpoles/frogs used for photographic and/or display purposes, most importantly.)These models allow for a more uniform display that would be impossible without causing stress or harm to living beings at the same developmental stages. They are also be great for classroom use and structured educational purposes at the elementary level. They are each definitely durable enough for whatever tactile use chosen. The tadpoles and frog are great to examine up close, on all sides, and are not easily damaged at all, but the egg clutch is all one piece and is open and hollow beneath the raised top surface. Still not easily damaged, but not anatomically/structurally accurate on all sides the way the tadpole/frog pieces are, which may be important to keep in mind when structuring your lesson plan.

1 star off because bees don’t lay eggs on a leaf
Yes I’m aware the photo shows an egg on a leaf but what a dumb idea. My son used them to teach a class to young kids and he asked them where bees lay eggs and even they knew they laid eggs in the hive so we had a good laugh passing the egg-leaf around. It’s a neat set to have for educational demonstrations. They’re made pretty well and colors are nice.
