I now have two of these (my house and my parents’) and they are wonderful. I’d consider them a bath time essential - not because I need it but because it makes life so much easier by taking out the guess work. I stressed so much about water temp when my daughter was a baby and this was an easy solution. It’s fast, updates quickly, is easy to read, and doubles as a bath toy. Plus it’s small - which is awesome because it seems like everything related to baby is bigger than baby. I tried one of those things that goes on the spout to tell the temp of the water as it came out but found that to be way off because the tub would cool the water as it filled up and it turned out I had no idea what the actual bath temp was. So, this thing is great. It takes away some guess work and quiets at least one little source of underlying anxiety.

Great, simple device. Works well and is super helpful!Update: I've had this thing over a year and a half. And I would say it's a must have for parents! My baby likes to chew on it and play with it (so good for more than just telling the bath temp). Wanna know a secret? I now use this for *my* baths too because I know what temp range I like and can run the perfect bath temp without guessing.Only complaint I have is it flips over too easily and if you sink it to the bottom and let it rise to the top itself its default position is with the readout display down (and the temperature sensor up in the air). But first works problems, right?

We use this every single bath! We were so nervous as first time parents and after freezing our baby in his first bath we needed something like this. Our baby also loves playing with it during bath time.

I love this product because I can safely get the water to the correct temperature since my water that I thought was to warm was actually cold! however I wish there was an on and off switch sometimes it will take a min or so of being in the water to display the temperature and other times it does it right away

The Mothermed Baby Bath Thermometer makes bath time for your little one a breeze :)Toss it in the tub (or sink) and let it float around as you are filling up. As soon as the two little metal electrodes touch the water it turns its self on and starts taking the temperature of the water. If the temperature gets to hot it starts to flash a red light to let you know to either wait for it to cool down or add a bit of cooler water to even it out. Once it is out of water it turns itself off until the next time it gets wet.Also, it seconds as a cute toy for the little one to play with and splash about with during bath time.Battery life was fantastic as well with it providing 3yrs of daily service for us.Worth while to keep as a momento when the little ones transition over to shower time. Seeing it years later still brings back those happy memories of them giggling and playing with stingray in the bubbles :)
