TropiClean Dog and Cat D-Mat Solution, 1-Gallon, iSmart D-Mat (OXDMSH1G)

I have 2 adult Maine Coon cats: a female with a fine coat and a male with a coarser coat. The female with the fine coat would constantly get mats despite DAILY grooming with a greyhound comb [http://amzn.com/dp/B0055LVXDM] and a cat mat breaker [http://amzn.com/dp/B0056V9RCK]. After applying, setting, and rinsing the DMAT Solution as instructed, the female cat's fur is now super silky soft and hasn't had a new mat since (that was a week ago). I also used it on my male cat and his fur now seems less course and feels much softer. I really like that this product rinses out, rather than being a leave-in treatment, since cats groom themselves and would ingest the product. Also, since this is a concentrate and you need to dilute it 10:1, it will last quite awhile.

this solution is absolutely fantastic my dog i s part Bichon and part Chavalier king Charles and gets the worst mats on his neck mostly that I have ever seen

Love this stuff. Works great on dogs with a lot of undeecoat! Saves your hands from having to brush a ton. Some dogs I won't even pre brush I just put them in the tub and give a nice shampoo then throw this on wait 3 min. and presure dry the heck out of them. It makes a mess for clean up but my hands can't hadle a lot of brushing anymore. Good smell as well. I have also had a couple clients tell me it makes the grooming last longer.

I have tried many different conditioners for my cocker spaniels and this is by far the best! Two of my dogs have skin issues and D-mat assists in the healing of the skin. It helps to remove hair that has been shed and leaves the coat SO soft and shiny. I have gotten comments from friends and others on how soft their coats feel. love it!!!!

worked great, very little shedding after even 2 weeks. But you must blow dry hair backwards. and brush until no more or very little hair is coming out.

I used this on two of the dogs I groom...not impressed at all. I don't see a difference in their coats in the least and I bought this product specifically for my "mattier" pooches. On top of that, I can't stand the smell. I only use Tropiclean shampoos & conditioners in my business (as well as Furminator) so this is a true disappointment! Save your money! If you are looking for a nice product for mats, check out the Crown Royal line! I'm amazed and it makes my life so much easier!

I am so bummed Tropiclean discontinued this product. I am the groomer for my county's animal shelter and have used this product for years. It works wonders on matts, undercoat and conditions great.

Excellent for helping to remove mats from Schnauzer's. Relaxes the hair so mats are less painful to remove.
