One afternoon I was working in the garage and decided I needed some tunes to pass the time. I rummaged through some old boxes. Looked on a shelf or two. No tunes to be had. There was an old Onkyo receiver but that thing didn’t make a single sound. I used to say, “if you cant fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem.” So hammer first. It made some noises. But none of them musical. I quickly saw the error in my method and figured, “I have an electrical problem.” Through the magic of YouTube I determined I was missing the antenna. A few clicks on this here interweb and Bob’s your uncle, it arrived. In all its splendor, shiny black cable with a silver end. The promise of the sweet sound of music loomed heavy in the air. I positioned the aforementioned Onkyo on the shelf and with a few well placed curse words and holding my tongue just right it installed. Magically and as if by divine intervention. Then much to my dismay the crystal clear sounds of Nickleback blasted forth from the speakers. At first I thought the antenna was broken, turns out I can select different stations with this new item. A few buttons later and Metallica screamed forth. Success! Installation took just under an hour and a half. Like 25 seconds-ish. Works as designed except it will apparently also receive Maroon 5…the manufacturer promises this is normal…

Does exactly what it claims. FM reception is great and I am in a rural area not very close to most stations I listen to. Very pleased

This boosted the our receiver's signal located in the basement rec room. The receiver struggled to pick up even the strongest radio channels through the thick concrete foundation. The audio would cut in and out with crackling static on a good day. Easy and quick to install and began picking up weaker stations with clarity right away. I gave it only 4 stars because the length could have been a few feet longer to offer more range positions.

I have an old home stereo FM receiver that i wanted to put back into use again and it needed a FM antenna to work , and it just so happened that while i was on amazon looking for something else i seen this antenna , read the reviews and thought what the heck , I'll add it to the cart ! Upon first looks and impressions right out of the package i thought i wasted my money because it`s really thin wire and an almost too small plug adapter ,, until i plugged into the stereo and i was surprised , It really works and it works really well , holds the station signals and i have more stations to listen to besides the couple that i had before i got this antenna. Happy I could bring my old electronics back to life!

This antenna was better than the one that came with my stereo, but still not good enough for what i wanted. I found another antenna in this price range that worked better for my location.

Works great

I had my doubts when I ordered this FM antenna. I had inherited a Bose acoustimass system and an Onkyo receiver but it was missing an FM antenna. I had an old antenna from my 1975 Pioneer 7730 that I tried using and it could only pickup a couple of stations. I really didn't expect much more from this unit but decided for the price, I'd take a chance and give it a try. I must admit, I was truly impressed with the performance of this antenna. It picks up decent signal from FM broadcasters I didn't even know existed. I get well over a dozen decent stations now compared to 2 or 3 with my old antenna. I'm quite pleased and would recommend to family and friends.

Funciona perfecto. He pasado de no sintonizar muchas emisoras, a escucharlas todas a la perfección. Muy sencillo y fácil de usar. Buen resultado para ser algo tan sencillo y económico.

Finalmente posso riascoltare la radio, non trovando più il cavetto antenna originale dell’impianto stereo, non potevo ascoltare la radio. Fa il suo dovere con ingombro praticamente nullo

Marche bien par contre attention à la prise de branchement à votre récepteur. N'est pas toujours compatible
