Works well. The USB plug is a bit delicate but overall good for the price.
The 7.1 surround sound is good. But if you accidentally yank the USB cable out then it damages the port making it unreliable for USB audio. Far more delicate then most USB devices I've brought. Still works well enough to charge the device while using it.The bluetooth audio is about what you'd expect from good quality bluetooth headphones. Stereo audio but I'm not an audiophile so it doesn't bother me much. Just a little disappointed I can't use the USB 7.1 surround audio that this thing is capable of as some games I play don't restore sound in game when audio is interrupted. So bluetooth is my only reliable option now.I'm not saying these headphones are bad. Just that the USB port is so far the only weakness I can tell. Hopefully future models reinforce the USB port more to protect against being pulled out and damaged.

Great sound, reliable Product
Have to admit I love Creative stuff have since I got my first 32 bit sound card for a PC build in the mid 90s. Always reliable, solid, great sounding hardware and not too expensive. I had the 2018 version of these headphones and the only reason I have upgraded is the ear cups and head band material was wearing away. There was nothing wrong with the sound and I would still get 8 hours battery life on bluetooth after 4 years that's not bad, and my brother will now use them for awhile longer. The Super Xfi sound is great the profile set up using the app on a smartphone is simple to do. Sound does make a difference in Games and movies. Bluetooth pairing picked up straightaway on iphone, Android and PC/Laptops. The easy to switch button between Blue tooth, USB lead, SD card, Gaming voice input is easy at the touch of a button, sound for conversations on Game team chat and MS Teams is great. Cable for USB C charging is good length and charges quickly. I have tried other headphones even more expensive ones but decided Creative is best especially for PC gaming. Highly recommend these very happy customer.

A hidden gem
Not sure if anyone will read this review, but let's give it a go. Compared to top brands the likes of Logitech, Razer and Hyper cloud to name a few. Creative tend to come off as the underdog when it comes to 'gaming' headset's. They don't tend to advertise, but they deliver on what they promise, which is great sound, nice features at an affordable price cough razer cough. The build quality of this headset is simple. You have the Creative logo written at the top. It's quite sturdy when adjusting the head band. No clamp force and it has a nice snug fit. So, if you wear glasses it won't squeeze your head or anything. You have your RGB, which is bright, but not over powering bright if you know what I mean. Looks nice when playing in the dark and if you don't like it, you can just turn it off. The ear cups and very comfortable, although comfort is subjective, so just my opinion. Breathable too. Sadly you can't take out the ear cups, which sucks really. Would have been nice of you could. You can adjust the volume via the left ear cup, which involves using your index finger to swipe up and down. Mind you it can be touch and go at times. I would have much preferred if it had a wheel or something, which would make it easier to adjust. If it's not broke don't try to fix it.The mic is crisp and clear. You can be heard dishing out dish out call outs to your team mates or if you just want to be toxic about sleeping with someone's mother. It's up to you. There is a red light, but you won't really notice it. Can you turn it off? Nope. Now for the important part: Sound quality. I must say, it's pretty damn good, for the price you are paying I cannot fault it too much. I've played games like, Battlefield 1 and 5, Call of Duty, Apex, Forza Horizon 4, Gears of War 4 & 5, Doom Eternal and Overwatch. You'll love it a lot. You can use the software to adjust the highs and lows. But the secret to it's great sound is Sxfi mode / battle mode, which Creative claim gives you better spatial awareness of what is happening around you, including hearing where the enemy farted if you are waiting for someone to pick off. Does it work? Oh yes. Does it work for all games? Not really. Single player games, mostly. You won't hear much of a difference to warrant using Sxfi. But in multiplayer is where it is at.Also, a nice feature is the gamer chat mode. Basically when activated via Bluetooth you can answer a phone call, while gaming. Which is pretty handy. Not so much for me as I don't get any calls, despite this pandemic claiming so many lives. Be nice if my mates checked up on me from time to time, but I digress.Overall, is it worth the asking price, yes. Thumbs up, yes. So, why the 4 stars, well there are a few things that didn't sit well with me. And that is the battery life of 11 hours when playing music. Compared to other headsets out there. That's pretty low. Also, this headset isn't totally wireless for gaming, which is a bummer. If you disconnect the headset you can only listen to music.Another, which got to me was the volume of sound. The quality is great, but it just didn't sound loud enough when I was playing my games. Even when I cranked it up to 60% going 70%, it just wasn't loud enough for me. Even trying to hear that explosion just didn't have that 'pop'. And the low trembles leave a bit to be desired. It's only 20,000 hz. Would have been nice if it was more.If you can forgive the small flaws, what you get is an affordable, comfortable and very versatile headset for the money, look no further. Sxfi is truly something special. I just hope Creative make a headset fully wireless and go all out on making the sound quality even better.

Competent gaming headphones. Bought these for my grandson who plays a number of on-line games
Bought these for my grandson who plays a number of online games. However decided to try them myself. Very impressed, virtual 7.1 is extremely impressive. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods. Have not used gamerchat so unable to comment. Likewise with Bluetooth as I use them thru type c usb connection.

also ich muss wirklich sagen
