Great cover, exact fit, great price, does what it says on the tin!

I bought this webcam cover recently to cover my Logitech C920. Fitting I was a little sceptical as some reviews state it does not fit and falls off when opening or closing the flap. However, this is not the case. If you push down gently the cover clips on perfectly with no problems. It is then fitted securely. Usability The cover opens and closes smoothly with ease. No problems at all. When the case is closed, the camera is completely blacked out. The case allows for a variety of open angles, which I use flat as in completely horizontal due to my screen set up which means it does not block any of my monitor. You can also fully open the cover if you wish. Durability The device seems a robust and rigid. The module and the cover seems well made.

I bought this item because it was recommended by 'Which?' magazine and, as the magazine stated, there is much uncertainty these days as to whether you can be spied on or not through webcams. So, at £6.99, I decided to invest in it. I was able to install it over my C920 without any difficulty - whether it will block attempts to spy on me remain to be seen (not that I will know about it). But it seems to be a good product.

Fit is good enough, but not perfect.

Snaps on perfectly, slides smoothly and now I can video call without feeling like I’m starring in a spy movie. When it’s closed, I feel safe. When it’s open, I look like I’m ready to deliver a TED Talk. Simple, sturdy and 100% worth it for the peace of mind

Fit perfectly and does exactly what it's supposed to

but at least there’s the guarantee that it won’t just fall off. The measurements are super precise, made just right for the Logitech C920 and other exact shapes. It looks elegant and discreet as oppose to the other one where it covers just the middle part of the camera. Not much that could break, you just snap it in and open/close the cover. When you sell the camera you can sell it with this cover for some additional value. I recommend.

While it ultimately does what it says on the box, it is unfortunately not a great fit for the Logitech C922 Pro model (as listed). It does somewhat "clasp" onto the top of the webcam with the designed clips, but you are able to slide it around (and off) quite easily. So really, it more so just "rests" on top of the webcam. When I try to pull down the camera cover down (after use) it just comes off entirely.

Passt perfekt, stört im geöffnetem Zustand nicht bei der Verwendung. Ist die Abdeckung auf der Kamera sieht man nur ein schwarzes Bild und trotzdem sieht man an der Kamera ob Sie an oder aus ist (die Leuchten sind frei).

I have had my Logitech webcam for ages now, I always unplugged it when not in use, there is a light to let me know when it was on but for some reason, I feel more reassured that I am not being watched. The Webcam cover went on well, has no problems and does not detract from the camera at all, fits snuggly and covers the webcam well. I would recommend this
