Pure Water Pebbles Aquarium Gravel, 2-Pound, Cumberland River Gems

I actually bought this as ground cover for a small dish garden. I wanted a light, natural colored, small-sized gravel and all I could find at pet/aquarium supply stores were colored. I was disappointed to find that this "gravel" was more the size of the pea rock I get from the garden/building supply stores for a couple of bucks for a 20 lb. bag. It is also quite dirty so will require a good bit of washing whether you use it for decorative purposes or for an aquarium. Not really impressed.

I recently bought gravel from the purewater pebbles company, amber light and Caroline which are the natural branded gravels. It came contaminated with wood and debris. This could harbor parasites like nematodes, planaria, fungi and bacteria. It is their responsibility to filter this out. I have never had this happen before in all my years of fish keeping dealing with many different brands. I sent them many emails with no reply. Now their are white specs hanging out on the glass. Could it be planaria? Their defected product ruined my fish tank. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!
