When I turned this cute little bird on straight out of the box, my napping kitty came running from the other room to see what it was. And that was it-- pure joy and entertainment followed as she played with it for about ten minutes before returning to her nap, seemingly content. I know from day one if my cat will like something (and I'm sure I'm not alone as a cat owner on this), and this toy is a hit if it got that great first response and wasn't ignored!Update: After only a few days of playing with this bird, my cat opened up the Velcro part and took out the mechanical part inside while I was sleeping. Her crying woke me up, and when I went to see what she was crying about I saw the destruction. She was okay and everything about the toy was intact, but now I will only let her play with this under supervision in case she can break open the machine part of it. She was sad it stopped moving I guess, for she was very concerned when I took it all away from her. She really likes it!

My little chihuahua loves the mouse. We had a learning curve as he wanted to bite down and I could hear his teeth on the plastic, but he learned.It's 5 stars in terms of he loves it, he plays with it on his own. Sometimes he wants to play fetch, but the fact it makes noise means he can entertain himself.4 stars however, because disappointed that after 7 months the battery is dying. It no longer squeaks, it's a lower pitch not quite buzz instead. He's figured out its not right. However, it also doesn't stop when it's left untouched like usual. It's constant, not stopping which is quite annoying.Will buy again, just feel like battery didn't last very long. Wish battery could be replaced.

I bought this toy for our two tuxedo cats because their favorite cricket toy had died. Yes, they killed it! I was worried when I opened the package and nothing..... no noise! Sadly, I had to replace it. But, when the replacement arrived.....Immediately, both Houdini and Missy Moo decided "GIGWI" was their new favorite buddy and was awesome to play with. Especially at night! I had fallen asleep in mom's recliner and left to sleep the night. But I didn't get to sleep for long! I was woke to see them taking turns jumping in and out of their cat play cube and the sounds of "GIGWI". I sat there in amazement watching jump in and out and Gigwi's unique chirping sound. THEY DID THIS REPEATEDLY FOR OVER ONE HOUR!!! . Sadly, I had to break up their party as I had to get some sleep. I took "GIGWI" and put him up on the tv stand in the living room hoping they'd settle down for the night. NOT A CHANCE!!! My ornery one (Houdini) decided he wasn’t done yet. At first he crawled up into the chair with me and I thought "ahh, he's gonna sleep with me." 😊😊 Ha! That smart little buggah proceeded to crawl up into the chair, shimmied down my leg and out to the end of the leg-lift portion of the chair. There he was.... swatting at it! 😳😳 Then, as if walking a tightrope....he made one step..... then he EVER SO S-L-O-W-L-YSTRECHED one more step. He then reached out with his right front paw... and he grabbed "GIGWI"! 🙀🙀🙀 He proceeded to bring him slowly to his body making sure he didn’t drop his precious friend. He then eloquently placed "GIGWI" in his mouth and backed gracefully down the end of the chair, back to me and jumped back down onto the floor. Never once dropping his pal. Here turned, pounced up into his favor bed, curled up and went to sleep. Yes, you guessed it! With GIGWI tucked safely in his paws. He laid there sound asleep with his buddy until morning. At which time he and Missy Moo were back at it ...chasing poor GIGWI in and out of their play cube. Btw... I've already ordered another one for when this one comes up missing or wears out. Poor GIGWI! He had no idea he was going to be soooo loved ❤️❤️ By two crazy tuxedo cats!

I was expecting this product to move quicker. A supposedly toy with catnip to entice the cats. It's garbage and worse. It moves like it doesn't move at all. And as far as Durability it was no longer a cute toy for my 3 boys. I'd rather crinkle Christmas bows and watch them go bonkers. There are toys superior and cheaper on other sites. JUST WARNING NOT A GOOD PLAY TOY. I would return it but as it's been used I have to check if it can be returned because the description was misleading and plenty of straight out deception. LOOK AROUND FOR BETTER. I AM

In my title, I say "loved" because sadly, it didn't last. The on/off switch is situated underneath a flap of the cloth that makes up the exterior of the bird and I think the placement is kind of off because my cats were easily able to, I don't know, make it disappear or just break it off? So yeah, they really loved the toy. It captured their attention whether it was making sounds or not and now they just enjoy it a lot less because it's so quiet. We'll probably try to get another one and see if the same thing happens. Everything else was great, it charges easily and quick and it is a good size for the cats to play with and it's pretty soft except for the core but it doesn't inhibit play any. They were able to easily toss it up in the air. There is a small loop on the top of the toy and I got a piece of elastic type thread to tie it up to their cat tree, that way it would bounce when they played with it. Great concept for a cat toy!
