This wheel is phenomenal! Although the price is up there and it makes a tad bit of noise, the benefits far outweigh those negatives. firstly, it's constructed simply enough to disassemble and reassemble when necessary (there are tons of videos about that online). secondly, it's large enough that the hamster doesn't have to experience any back bending! this hamster is a syrian, so i believe that anything less than 9 inches isn't the greatest for his physical health. thirdly, it generally doesn't make any noise. when you listen close enough there'll always be some sound, of course, but this is totally ignorable. It's nothing that's terrible to hear. of course, with time, it'll grow a tad squeaky. to remedy that effect, you can oil up the axle with some oil (safe for the hamster-- baby oil, vegetable oil) occasionally, during disassembly (there are also tons of videos about that online). lastly, the aesthetics are super nice! i was able to chose a wheel that matched my hammy's theme. i built a 189 liter bin cage myself , and i'm in the process of furnishing it. this wheel added a great touch of color to it. (I also appreciate the ergonomics of the entrance holes. they aren't circles as pictured in the product images, but instead half -ovals. i believe the oval shape is far better looking, and easier for the hamster to enter/exit). i also did peel off the "wodent wheel" sticker, b/c i like the way the wheel looks without it :) ~by the way, his name is Io (eye- oh)... named after one of Jupiter's moons!~

This wheel is very good. It's a little difficult to disassemble and clean, and is not as quiet as I had hoped. The wheel is a good size for a Syrian hamster (no bad back bend). For a large diameter wheel, it is a little shorter in height than the large "Silent..." from another company. Recommend to apply vegetable oil to the axel/wheel disc interface to make the wheel quieter. The height clearance between the bottom of the spinning wheel and the bottom of the entire unit is a little small so you can't have a thick layer of bedding substrate under it it or the wheel rubs against the bedding.

Perfect size for a Syrian hamster! Please don’t give a Syrian a wheel any less than 11”. These wodent wheels are perfect and are easy to disassemble for cleaning. The blue and white is also very pretty to look at.

This is the best wheel I've come across for hamster. Great design; it's both incredibly easy to clean and very safe. The stand is a bit weak though and the wheel will wobble (at least it did for my smaller than average Syrian hamster). This can be fixed by taking the weight off of the stand, but it will take some creativity.

The wheel bounces around a lot. The stand is not sturdy enough to keep it in one place while the hamster runs.It is a great size for my syrian. Also, it is noisy so if it's going in a child's room it will keep them up all night. It was a good size to fit in a 20 gallon long tank that is 12.5 inches tall. (Needing to upgrade my tank size)
