way too strong pressure
this capo is built well you could feel it would not wear off easily BUT the spring exerts a really strong pressure and on my classical guitar (which is not built for) the sound was really dampened. of course this capo says on the packaging it's for acoustic and electric guitar but did not say anywhere on the product description. However on electric guitars the pressure required is less than other guitars and too much pressure from a capo meaning the strings will be knocked out of tune. so all in all I just tried this capo few hours before I decided to repack and send back to amazon. so from my perspective I would not recommend it but in Amazon UAE it's not easy to find a good capo unless it ships from the U.S which means you pay around 15 USD for the capo and another 15 USD on top for shipping. so maybe for a limited Amazon UAE this capo isn't too bad but maybe worth checking some other alternatives in some local shops but again local music shops in UAE are really really bad if you compare to shops in Europe or the U.S

Great capo
I like the solid feel of this capo. It feels very high quality and durable. My cheap ones had issues such as glue letting go of the rubber. Hopefully time will see this one last. Definitely need to squeeze harder than my older one. But, then again, the tension seems to help prevent buzzing. Also, there is a slightly curved side and flat side. My neck profile is slightly curved so this works well to place the handle away from me which I prefer so the handle doesn't get in my way of playing.

I bought this to match my new guitar and it’s heavy, sturdy and works very well. My husband commented on how nice it is, compared to his cheaper version. Stop scrolling and buy this! You will not regret it!
