Woweeeee!!
They are just perfect ..me being 70+ they keep me balanced on long walks ..usually do around 3 hours 3/4 times a week. Sometimes terrain is a bit yukky..And they keep my posture to how it should be ..easy to assemble and fold away very sturdy .great price and are accompanied by perfect accessories so it's a 5 /10 stars from me .. they also have a little bag to put them in (folded) for when you are planning walking on your holidays abroad ..The sturdiness is very good and I trust them ...So here's to happy hiking with confidence..I would definitely recommend to anyone ....

Sturdy and small pack size
I’m really impressed by these cheap poles. I usually use expensive Leki poles, but wanted something small enough to go inside my rucksack if I’m scrambling or rock climbing.I didn’t want to buy lighter, but much more expensive, carbon fibre poles, as I didn’t feel I’d use them often enough. (I mainly planned to use my robust aluminium Leki poles still.)Putting these together, I was immediately impressed by how well-made they are. They actually feel slightly lighter than my Leki’s, but pack down to a much shorter length, so they will easily fit inside my rucksack.I’m 5’3”, and have preferred to use trekking poles set at a single length for 30 years now (regardless of whether I’m going up or downhill). The shortest setting on these (buying the shorter length option) feels very slightly longer than I’d usually set my Leki’s, but they will be far better than not being able to take poles with me.The handles feel comfortable, and I like that they came with a wide variety of pole end options, Velcro to keep the folded poles together, and a handy storage bag to carry them in. It is easy to snap the pole sections together, and the resulting poles are stable and sturdy.

The fold small enough to fit in my suitcase
Easy to unfold and fold back. Light and sturdy. Very good!

For the money, brilliant.
Telescopic poles collapsing on you when coming down a mountain? Carbon fibre ones shattering? Not good when you got 100 litres on your back. These maybe a few grams heavier, but the construction is key. The sections "butt" against each other, which means they cannot collapse on you which is brilliant.Aluminium, so they're not gonna shatter. The only concern is to make certain the clamp is properly tightened..... easy done!Grips feel like cork. Though cork is easily dented and damaged. Too many people scream about cork but the FACT is, with today's technology, there is no difference whatsoever (do the research). In terms of abuse and longevity, they will outlast cork. They actually feel warm to grip and feel just like cork too.Very small and compact. I carry a fair bit weight, I'm not one of these lightweights (if your a grams freak them look elsewhere). I wanted something reliable to put full body weight on while carrying a fully laden 100litre Sabre Bergen coming up and down mountains in the Lake District. These poles I trust. They won't shatter or collapse on me, the few extra grams is irrelevant compared to my safety. They are very compact and sturdy and what I consider to be light considering my load. I'm 5'7" and 14 stone and bought the shorter ones. I'm glad I did. I nearly bought the longer ones but consider climbing upward and down. Altering the length is at the top only. I would say if your over 5'10 get the bigger ones. Below the shorter is perfect. For thirty quid these are an absolute gift. Trekology really got this one nailed. Funny how you can have these for thirty pounds yet it's twenty pounds for their pillow. Go figure!! I'd say grab em before they're gone!! Well worth it. £100+ for poles is ridiculous and unnecessary.

Excellent for being sold as a pair at a great price, foldable, easy to use and with accessories supplied.
Bought these trekking poles for a walking holiday in the Italian Alps and absolutely loved them.Pros: * Folded small enough (smaller than traditional poles) to fit in a smallish suitcase as well as a rucksack.* Easy to assemble following the instructions enclosed). Unlike the normal 3 piece trekking pole with a screw assembly, this pole slots together and is held together using tension which is maintained by a small button which clicks out to prevent the top piece from sliding down or the stick collapsing. It is essential to get this piece of the assembly correct.* Height is adjusted using a clip which maintains the height set even when the pole is folded (a mega plus - no fussing around to sort them out each time I used them - just quickly put together and go). I found this clip mechanism had to be adjusted using the small screw so that it is tight enough to stay in place but just loose enough to allow the clip to work. Once I had this set properly I had no problem with the poles altering their length in heavy use.* Cork style handles were comfortable and not unduly sweaty even in high temperatures (I am sensitive to latex so this material was an important factor for me).* Very lightweight but sturdy and strong in use, (even if I tripped over them) and I had no concerns that they would give way with my full weight (10 st) on them.* Mud baskets and rubber tips supplied (neither of which I needed to use in summer on unsurfaced tracks and paths).* Storage bag supplied kept poles together and tidy (velcro straps on handles help this too), allowing them to slip easily in and out of a full rucksack.* Smaller size bought to suit my height so I did not have to carry around extra pole that was not needed because of my height.Cons: No anti-shock system but I did not find this a problem at all and there is debate about whether it is useful anyway.I have osteoarthritis of both knees and without these poles I undoubtedly would not have been able to achieve the wonderful walking experience that I had - managing to walk over 50 miles of tracks, including rough steep uphill and downhill sections, in 6 days. However I am a relatively fit 60 something woman and have good upper body strength which allowed me to get the most out of using the poles. The best experience comes from making sure you know how to use them (having them adjusted so your arms are at a 90 degree angle at the elbow as you grasp the handles; putting hands through the straps so that they are held by the thumb so you don't lose or drop the pole if you need to do something else with that hand while holding the pole; perfecting a stride technique and rhythm that gives you optimum propulsion on different types of terrain; checking regularly that the correct height has been maintained). There are online articles and videos available to make sure you definitely do know how to use them correctly and then really benefit from the support and assistance that they can give. Two poles are definitely better than one if you have knee problems.

Very useful poles
Strong but lightweight, fold and unfold easily, and essential for walking up and down the coastal footpaths. Good value for money.

Excellent poles and great price point.
I bought them to use on a hike while carrying 40-50lb pack. I’ve used other poles before, but like these very much. They are a bit hard at first to put together but once you figure them out, it is a breeze. Very happy with how they look and work, the features of folding up small and light weight yet performing strong and tough. The reasonable price is also a huge factor. All in all - a great purchase.

Bra stavar!
