I've been drinking this tea for years. Always happy with it!
I've been getting this gunpowder green tea for years now. Never disappointed. I only need a heaping teaspoonful for a whole pot of tea. I steep it the first time for 3 minutes, set the tea ball aside. If I want to make another pot the same day I reuse the same tea and steep for 5 minutes the second time. I keep the teapot on the plate warmer burner on my cooktop and I have hot tea ready and waiting all day long. Such an economical drink. It never gets a tanniny taste like black tea will get.

Green Gunpowder Tea
I have been drinking this tea for 25+ years. I ordered it from Amazon before and was disappointed, although not from this supplier. This tea is the real deal. It came as small gunpowder pellets and brewed to that vegetal smoky flavor that I love. The supplier shipped it quickly.

Very good Gunpowder tea at a very good price.
My package of this tea was tightly wrapped in plastic with another sheet of plastic around it. The tea itself is small, tightly rolled, dark green pearls and has a nice aroma. The taste is very good. A great tea for the price. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Dirty like muddy water and musty smelling
This tea is dirty AF and smells like the back of my closet. Musty or something. Its so muddy and dirty you can't even see light coming through the cup. Some people are saying its good. We must getting different batches or something cuz there was nothing good about this 2.2 lbs of tea. What a waste

Yes, it is strong and a bit darker than the open leaf green tea, that is expected. Unlike some other reviews, my packages were intact and the tea inside was almost all rolled leaves I. The form of pellets, not a powder. Since I brew it with a custom mix of herbs, stronger and. Vegetal flavor is better for us. It ca. also steep longer than the open leaf. Nice aroma! I have used this brand for more than a decade, but first time buying it online where it is cheaper than store. A little goes a long way. You should try it if you haven’t, but be open minded the first time.
