Replacement for Serious Readers Eliot
I know it's just a bulb, but I needed a replacement bulb for a Serious Readers Eliot floorstand lamp. You cannot find the spec for the lamp from the info they supply, so I called them to see if they could sell me one as their website didnt seem to offer spares. They said they no longer did spares and offered me a big discount on a new lamp - I just needed a £6 bulb, not another £300 lamp, even with a 50% discount.So, the bulb you need is an MR11 with GU4 connection / fitting - one of these. The lamp was designed for halogen not LED, and I couldnt find an LED with a good quality of light (best was CRI 90%) so had to go with halogen.It fits and seems to be a direct replacement for the 15156A bulb specified for the lamp.
