Underwhelmed. Package has multiple smaller packages for single serving. Opened up a smaller bag. Flakey and stale. Very salty. Like overwhelming. Immediately very thirsty and wanted the taste out of my mouth. No moisture. More like kibble versus jerky. Best by date is 07/22/2022

I've had other Baja jerky and thought they were good (like the Fresca and orange beef), however, I bought this one and started eating the zero sugar peppered beef jerky. I was drinking a diet mt. dew with it and found that the oils (or at least that's what it felt like in my mouth) became sticky and started to coat my entire mouth/teeth. It was an odd feeling. I decided to have my friend try the jerky with another can of diet mt dew and they too started commenting on how weird it was. We suspected the coldness of the dew was causing the oils to harden and get sticky. Needless to say, I don't think I can buy this pack again because of that weird oily substance on the jerky.
