This is the first book by this author - Bex Dane I have read. And I will say I will be following now. This book revolves around Lachlan who is your typical alpha, he is ready to protect the woman he loves. The characters have undeniable chemistry and the plot is engaging keeping you turning pages. I was kept on the edge waiting for the next thing to be revealed. I can’t wait for the next addition to the series I think everyone would enjoy this series if you like tough men with a touch of spice.

This is a fairly well written shorter romance that supplied a lot of angst, suspense, and some downright good spice. I really felt the heat in the love scenes, but no so much outside the bedroom. There was never a feeling of anything going completely off the rails. Maybe her partner of two years could have put up more of a fight for her (and still lost her as a lover in the end). Or maybe there could have been more suspenseful, heart pounding action in the final scene. Clean editing and a flowing plot. Just misses the mark for a 5 star story.

This was such an amazing addition to the series. Lachlan is your typical alpha who is ready willing and definitely able to protect the woman he loves. The characters are well developed and engaging and storyline flows smoothly from page one to the last. I was kept on the edge. Can’t wait for the next one.

This is a fast read book as it will get you it's grip and you will be on the edge of your chair from then on waiting to see what is going to see what is going to happen next. Lachlan is the perfect alfa male Nevada. Their strength 's and weaknesses fit together perfectly, as in their first date together. If you are looking for book with suspense and romance this is the book for you.

A well-written, fast paced and action-packed book with an intriguing storyline and captivating characters. Loved the chemistry between Lachlan and Nev.

I read this after the other 4 books in the series, but that didn't seem to matter. Enjoyable read about Lachlan & Nevada.

Lachlan came home to find Nevada, his best friend’s sister. He found her, but not where he expected. And he definitely didn’t expect her to be able to take care of herself or have an opinion. The characters are real, with flaws and human emotions. I really enjoyed this book and am going to read Rogan, the first book in this series. I found this author happy accident, and am glad that I did.

This book is a short read and follows on after book one Rogan.It also hits at book two.We met Lachlan in book one undercover asking Tessa out on a date (but only to find out about the club) he did like her and I guess felt lonely but they never even kissed, so not odd to keep in touch with them. But slade he was sleeping with nev, so that's not nice to have in Lachlan face all the time and I thought Cole was his best friend.also will nev stay partners with slade that's a lot to put up with.

Brilliant little segment of a fantastic series.. loved this couple and their story. Welldone on another brilliant piece of writing.

A good follow on from Rogan. Nev and Lachlan made a great couple, and did well to work out their loyalties.
