The media could not be loaded.  I got these 3 at great value for money (when I purchased them) to use them with resin also purchased here. I am a new resin user and I love the details achieved, which are better than using clay (I use when creating my personalised cards).I love the detail on the rose and birds of my first resin attempt. However the second I had to throw away purely because it did not cure even 24 hours later: heat from hairdryer made it worse and also adding more resin did not help - ideas mentioned around to help resin cure.Interestingly, the resin still cured beautifully on the big Prima Marketing 8 inches long moulds while did not on these small moulds. Some people blame it on the quality of the resin as I stirred for 5min, worked with very small quantities and the temperature is high in late June 2023.Could it be that small moulds 'work' differently? Or the big Prima Marketing moulds, due to their quality affect the final results and resin curing ultimately? I have a Science background and with many hours of lab experiments I know that 'devil is in the detail'.

My first experience using silicone molds for clay. I watched several videos on Utube and did notrealize these were as small (the actual molds and the image they are set to use). However as I got3 of them and was mistakenly sent 2 sets, though I only ordered one set via Amazon, I kept themand tried them out. I found that with the right tools for the clay and the use of a tiny bit of handlotion applied in each insert that I am using via a tiny paint brush, the clay comes out easy and withoutany issues. I will try to get a bit larger mold the next time to give it a try.

First, they’re a lot smaller than I thought. I did look at the size but was confused by the photo of the butterflies on the cake. They’re definitely not that big. They do work well though. I tested them immediately. I use them with hot glue or clay. Both seemed to work nicely. However, parts of the molds are super thin which is concerning because it feels like it might rip.

The camels are very nice. I was very excited to receive them and I’ve used them already. Good quality. I will enjoy using them for a long time.

The designs are really nice and varied. The reason I am giving the product only 3 stars is because I find the silicone much too soft and the bottom of the molds too thin, compared to most of the other silicone molds I buy for identical purposes. I have a few molds with similar issues, and find them to be a pain to use--I use mine with polymer clay or paper clay mostly. The very thin bottom (where the top of the design is located) and excessively soft material make the molds difficult to use without messing up the design either while molding or unmolding, or when moving the mold from one place to another. To prevent such problems, the molds need to be placed on a very flat and hard surface--such as a glass cutting board--and filled without too much pressure to prevent any flattening of the design. These are not the best quality. To be effective, silicone molds need to be thick at the bottom, and flexible but not soft.

Apparently you can put hot glue in the molds! And make cute shapes. I haven't tried that yet. Was going to try to put acrylic paint in the molds. Acrylic paint peels off silicone easily.
