Treasures from the Patek Philippe Museum

What a well presented & beautiful books. The graphics of each item is of top quality, though, can't afford a Patek. The book almost makes up for it.

What can I say 10/10 . This is a very good book to have in ones Patek Philippe collection , brilliantly produced , and well documented . And i have been after this book for such a long time , and a great read .

This is a wonderful set of two books about the watches and clocks in the Patek Philippe Watch Museum in Geneva, Switzerland. The books are by the Director and Curator of the museum. One book focuses on historical watches and clocks from about 1500 up to about 1850, all timepieces made by various watch- and clockmakers but not by Patek Philippe. The second book focuses solely on the history of Patek Philippe timepieces from the mid-1800s up to the present time. Both books are filled with beautiful photographs of the timepieces on every page along with descriptions of the timepieces, who made them and when, and for whom they may have been made. There also are brief more general discussions about the time periods in which the timepieces were made and various aspects of watchmaking during those time periods. A great book set for lovers of watches and horology.

Descrizioni puntuali con dettagli e testo integralmente in inglese, non è un'edizione in lingua italiana. Carta di qualità, dimensioni ottime per godere pienamente dei contenuti e delle fotografie di tanti pezzi rari e da collezione. Si tratta di un'edizione ufficiale, originale e autorizzata da Patek Philippe. La spedizione è stata curata direttamente da Amazon senza costi aggiuntivi con Prime, il cofanetto è arrivato sigillato con tanto di pellicola e all'interno i due volumi. Il libro è uscito a dicembre 2022 e lo consiglio senza dubbio anche come idea regalo per appassionati. Spero di essere stato utile.

We admire historic Patek Phillipe watches. This book is nice, intended as a gift. Book was delivered in a box, but arrived with a dented corner. Requested replacement, also delivered in a box, also arrived with dented corner. Requested 2nd replacement; only option is refund. Will have to return and buy a new one. Hopefully the new one not dented!

Ho ordinato una prima volta l'articolo, due volumi in un cofanetto, con l'intenzione di regalarlo ad un appassionato di Patek Philippe. Aperto l'imballo, il cofanetto si presentava con gli spigoli rovinati. Trattandosi di un regalo, ho chiesto il reso e la sostituzione con lo stesso articolo, specificando il motivo del reso. Purtroppo, anche la seconda volta il cofanetto era danneggiato negli spigoli, in misura minore, ma pur sempre non accettabile, a mio giudizio, per un regalo. Il cofanetto non è plastificato, ed è, evidentemente, piuttosto delicato e sensibile agli sfregamenti con il cartone dell'imballo. Gli angoli andrebbero protetti meglio, magari con paraspigoli morbidi. Ho chiesto anche di questo il reso, ordinando stavolta un libro diverso. Amazon mi ha specificato per il secondo reso che i tempi di rimborso potrebbero essere più lunghi del solito. Vorrei segnalare ad Amazon che ci sono anche clienti che rendono più volte il prodotto per giustificate ragioni, che non sono necessariamente clienti dal reso facile.
