Discovered these while in the UK
I'd be willing to travel back to buy more but it's much easier to buy them online. Love this hard clove candy and it seems to be good for clearing the lungs and sinuses (no scientific backing, just what I think.)

Horrible tainted taste.
Tasted like candy was left in a basement for 9 months. Definitely NOT fresh. Definite humidity damage. Open each of the sealed bags and every individually wrapped piece stuck to wrapper like it had sat in tainted water and then dried out in bag.

The BEST clove candy ever. Have tried many types and this is the best hands down

Tasted good but contain a food coloring that is harmful to kids
I threw it out when I read the label but to my recollection, they disclosed that they use a food coloring found to be harmful to children by the European Union or something like that. So I can't recommend them unless you don't care about what you eat. They taste very authentic and good. Sweet but dry at the same time.

The candy is just right.
The candy is good and strong. My only reason I deduced a star was the packaging. Once the candy is set out (in a candy dish), It begins getting soft and sticky.

Good clove flavor
I love clove, most other Americans don't , so I have to order my clove candy. This is more mild a clove flavor than the sanded drops, but individually wrapped so you can stick a few in your pocket. Very good if you love clove.
