Outback Power Mate Digital Display and System Control RS232

Makes our system accessible, finally!! It's a little complicated to navigate through the menus, but it works well. We have been having some difficulty with the power cutting out and this finally allowed us to determine what the problem was and change the set points. If your system is having issues and all you have to go on is the error light, this product will likely solve your problem or at least give you enough access to learn what is causing the problem. There are newer versions of this product, but they cost a lot more.

This controller won’t work on a boat as it will just falloff the wall it is attached. The mounting system is designed about as well as a kids $2.50 toy. The unit it’s self is probably okay, it’s the way in which it attaches to the wall that will surely fail on a boat or any moving vehicle. Outback doesn’t seem want to admit they have a poorly designed controller. Shame on them. Outback is unwilling to admit a flaw in one of their products, which is clearly the case in the Mate mounting system. Then I’m told by Outback it is under guarantee for 2 or 5 years they were not sure, but can’t be returned without the original box. Who saves their packing boxes for two years? I think not. Really poorly designed mounting system and terrible warranty.Save the original packaging box you got to be kidding. Sorry for Outback they won’t stand behind their products. You try to talk to someone on the phone and you are going to spend a great deal of time before someone. Very disappointed customer.
