LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. Gia & Ivan are so hot together it's a wonder my Kindle app didn't melt my phone to my hands. I was engulfed in the book from the first page... couldn't set my phone down due to being so intrigued as to what came next. Ann gives you every delectable detail and has me wiggling in my seat from all of my bodies reaction to her erotic words that pull you in and make you want more and more of the hot, kinky, eroticism written so well. A must read!! So HOT you know you want to be Gia to be on the receiving end of this HOT Bulk of a Man!!

Gia is an architect and loves being a submissive. She goes to a club and participates in a charity auction. The money she raises goes to her favorite charity and some goes to her. She has a list of fantasies and the Dom knows them. They have one week together but she doesn't have to have sex with him.Ivan is a rich Russian who wins Gia. One of her fantasies is being kidnapped but Gia thinks it's for real. He takes her to a mountain retreat and gets entranced by her. He has never felt this way about a woman and tries to convince her to go to Russia with him. She is falling for him but is scared because they barely know each other. When Ivan sees something he wants, he goes after it.This story is filled with sex. BDSM, spanking, f/f sex, anal, and a sexy Russian who'll do anything to keep his girl.

All the different scenarios in this book was like a fantasy come to life all in one book. The authors ability to convey the differing emotions endeared me to the storyline.

This is a book I found hard (if impossible) to put down. The talent Ann Mayburn has in telling her story line, makes a turn page after page experience. I'm looking forward to read more of her books. This was the first of her books I have read. I am adding her to my author list.

A good storyline with well developed characters. A larger than life Alpha Dom and a tiny but strong-willed submissive connect from the first time they meet. Lots of hot, an I mean hot sex, good BDSM scenes, flirting, a little romance, all make a good story. But, this book like all books I read, has not been proofread. So many errors in it. I truly do not understand the authors today; no one prrofgs their own books or has anyone else proofread them before publishing. I gave this one five stars just because I enjoyed the story so much but I should have marked it down because of all the errors in it. Wake up, authors! You need to find good proofreaders that will help you make your books better for your readers!

As a BDSM practitioner and enthusiast for almost a decade, I foukd thos vook to be very thorough and not to mention extremely well written. I couldn't put it down. I literally fell asleep from sheer exhaustion with the book still open and continued to read it as soon as my eyes opened. Absolutely brilliant.

This is the first book I've read by this author but I can promise that I will be buying more. Lots of got sex an BDSM and a believable story line

It has all of the hot and kinky twists one can expect from this type of genre.This novel follows Gia Lopez, who signed up to be a submissive for a week in order to support her charity. Gia begins her captivating journey feeling insecure, thinking that no one will bid for her. But, someone does...and it is a shocking amount that surprises her. Her new master, Ivan, pushes her to her limits and she unknowingly does the same for him, which is what they both want and crave. As they become intensely attracted to each other, they hope things will last, but..there are many bumps in the road for them; leaving them both feeling helpless and wondering if things will ever work.This erotic romance is much different from what I normally read in this particular genre, starting with the submissive auction! I loved that idea and the details were so descriptive that I felt I was actually there, on stage with Gia, waiting on my bid. And the kidnapping scene...very unexpected and had me thinking twice and wondering what was really happening. What a great scene! Each of the characters in this book, including the secondary characters, all had amazing roles and were vividly detailed, leaving the imagination to conjure the going ons clearly. The sensual scenes were sizzling hot and satisfyingly thorough. Two thumbs up to Ann Mayburn for developing well thought-out scenes.Reading Ivan's Captive Submissive gave me a different view of the Dom/Sub world that I haven't read before and this is why I love this book, it is refreshingly different. I recommend this book to all erotic romance lover's out there and I will continue reading this series! Can't wait to begin the next book!!

I picked this up ages ago as a freebie on Amazon. It languished on my kindle until I became bored of the arc books I was reading and I searched for something to whet my appetite. I definitely found that with this little gem of a story. I really wasn't sure what I would find within it's pages, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a very well written book from an author who clearly understands BDSM.Gia offers herself up for auction to raise money for a pet shelter she volunteers at. Even if this is fiction, the safeguarding provided for the submissives was impressive and sets the tone for the quality of the story. Submissives have phone numbers they can contact to be extracted at any time, along with an emergency bundle of cash should they need it. Along with all participants being thoroughly vetted, hard and soft limit lists are disclosed, sex is negotiable and a list of the submissive's fantasies is also included. One of Gia's secret desires is to be kidnapped and 'forced', consensual non-consent as it were.When Ivan puts this into motion almost immediately, Gia doesn't realise and is convinced she has actually been kidnapped. This allowed the book to skirt the boundaries of dubious-consent without the heroine ever being at genuine risk. It certainly made for a very steamy and yet boundary pushing read.Once Gia discovers the truth her next battle is to not fall for the incredibly sexy and alpha male that is Ivan. I really liked Gia, she was so strong, even in her submission, and her worries were very genuine and believable. Ivan was really sexy and dominant but was also so very gentle and caring when the situation required it. I liked that neither character was 'perfect', each had their strengths and weaknesses that just made them that more likeable and real.My only problem was the timeline seemed a little confused. The submissives were purchased for a week, yet even though Ivan had to leave 'early' they seemed to have managed to spend at least this amount of time together. Also they fly into Boston (Gia recognises the skyline) but suddenly they are leaving New York? However these were both very minor details and most certainly didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story.It's a fairly low angst read, with their difficulties overcome fairly swiftly and without too much heartache. It's also more of a HFN ending, though a very positive and wonderful one. This book is definitely NSFW and contains several scenes of BDSM play, anal play, menage etc. If that is likely to offend you then perhaps this isn't the book for you. I'd happily recommend it to those who enjoy this type of book and whilst this was the first book I've read by the author, it won't be the last.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I'm eager now to read the rest in this series . Yes it's got lots of hot steamy BDSM sex but it's also got a love story running through it as well . It's about two people from totally different backgrounds who end up falling for one another . I loved Ivan who is a very wealthy handsome Russian Dom, he attends a special auction where the highest bidder gets the services of a Submissive for one week . When Gia puts herself is up for auction he's instantly drawn to her and decides he must have her so he bids a very large sum of money for her and of course he wins . During their time together he soon realises that he wants more than Gia's submission and sets out to win her over , do they get their HEA ........ of course they do .

What a thrill ride! Once I started this book I was hooked, the auction passes quickly then Gia is being transferred by her Master and the fake kidnapping, that feels very real, happens. I loved how it is a generous part of the book, enjoyed the miscommunication and confusion and the surprise resolution. Then the story, including some very steamy, deliciously dark erotic scenes, continues. All the characters were great, there's a nice mix of key and minor ones and the chemistry between Gia and Ivan was intense. I particularly liked that although they changed, they remained true to themselves. My one little criticism would be that the ending feels a smidgen rushed. It's still 5 stars though as I enjoyed it so much. I'm looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

This is a new author to me and one I will be buying more of her books. She has introduced more eliments to BDSM that I had only heard about not read. And she is the first author to introduce role-play in her story! Brill!!! I read alot of books and she is different to any other that I've read to date. Let your imagination go ladies! She's up there with the best and as another reader's view is 'she is as good as cherise Sinclair'-I have to agree. The author told me she had a blast writing this story-I beieve her! Well done Ann!!!

This is my first book by this author. A reading buddy recommended in one of the forums that we read this series. Imagine my surprise when I find out that I have books 1 and 2 on my kindle unread. I decided I would check this series out.This is Ivan and Gia's story. Well what a pleasant surprise. Just like the couple made a connection with each I made a connection with them. Gia's looking for a Dom and she finds one in Ivan. I liked that apart from one big misunderstanding they were honest and open in their relationship and told each other their true feelings. You could feel the love coming through this story.I really enjoyed it and I would highly recommend this book.

A great story l can totally understand why Gia is so reluctant that their love can be real on both sides. A fast falling in love can frequently have a fast falling out of love when they really get to know each other. I am longing to read the next book to find out how they resolve their problems. I recommend this book to anybody like me who enjoys reading BDSM even if they do not practice it. I will look for more of this author's books.

Enjoyed the book and the Russian link added that bit extra. have to say there was an awful lot of sex in the book and at times I felt one scene just blended into another. Loved our dominant but felt the submissive was a bit short sighted in why she joined in the auction.

I loved this book...I would love to get to know Ivan, what a man!. My only disappointment with this book was the fact I felt the end was rushed. Why did they fall out of live so fast, she safewords, then two seconds later there getting married. Apart from that I loved all the BDSM elements to this story. The auction and kidnap was so moving, I was really in that zone. Great read to loose yourself in. Can't wait fir the next from this author.

I enjoyed the emotional rollercoaster ride of this book. it is well written loved the development of the relationship between Ivan and Gia. I had been intrigued by this book as It had been recommend to me by Amazon. it is well worth the read.

I gave you four stars and not five because i thought the end was very short if you had told us more about what happened to them i would have given you 5stars. I will say i like the book very much and i liked the way you write it as not put me off reading more of your books but please tell us more about what happens to them at the end.

This was a lovely gentle story of 2 people falling in love and I found it impossible to put down once I started it. I can highly recommend it.

I enjoyed this book end felt a bit rushed but a good story that will have me wanting to read more. This is a standalone with a HEA.

Fantastic first book in the Submissives Wish series. Loved the protective nature of Ivan and the strong will of Gia.

Found this book and enjoyed Gia and Ivan's road to HEA, From the USA to Russia, misunderstandings,hot sex,and an incredible Dom in Ivan. Good story be looking for more like this.
