Kitty HolsterXS Purple

I purchased the XS holster, which was the smallest available size because my kitty is small for an adult cat and skinny. Her torso/midsection measures at about 13". Fitting the Holster snuggly on her ends up leaving about an inch of the velcro strap hanging off the side, so I shortened the mid section strap by folding it back on itself and sewing it to hold the fold together. Other than that, it's be working well.

Fantastic design! This is the harness to buy to train your cat!When I was wrestling with my bucking and squirming six month old kitten, trying to get her into the popular brand harness that I had originally bought, all tiny straps and hard to use snap-fasteners, I was thinking, "This is ridiculous! Why don't they make something simple, with Velcro?"Well, turns out that the good people at Kitty Holster do! (And they are good people. In addition to their home grown holster business, they do animal rescue and run a sanctuary.)This vest is so easy to put on, light weight, and comfortable--an "elegant solution" design, that comes with a thoughtfully written guide on how to introduce your cat to using the holster. But, even my not terribly cooperative feline was able to thoroughly accept wearing the holster in two sessions--didn't take her any time at all to realize this was her ticket to the great outdoors, and now she is even happy to wear it inside waiting for the leash to get snapped on and out the door we go! She is so much happier and so am I. Thank you Kitty Holster!

Not what I was expecting. It fit my cat awkwardly, especially with that giant velcro strap on her chest/neck. She looked way more comfortable in her regular harness. I do have a small cat, which is why I bought the XS, but I was still disappointed. I'll try it again and we'll see if she can get used to it.

This is the 6th harness I’ve tried on my little Houdini, and the only one she hasn’t been able to easily slip out of. She doesn’t seem to hate it, either, the way she did the other harnesses. She is almost 3 years old and around 9 lbs, but very slim, so even the XS was almost too big. I can’t imagine the XS not being too large on an actual kitten, but it could just be my cat’s build (long, lean, and very narrow chest).

My kitten Oliver is a wild one. He is into everything and never stops. He has that kitten ambition. I put this on him so he could get used to it before I take him outside and train him to walk on a leash. I have no idea what kind of powers this vest has but it calmed him right down and put him to sleep. I think this could be used as a thunder vest for those who freak out during thunder storms. I now have to figure out how to take a sleeping relaxed kitten out for a walk lol

Our cats never travel without a Kitty Harness! They act like a security/comfort blanket when we travel by car or on long, international flights. These halters will keep your kitty safe and calm through TSA checks or when driving on a long distance trip..These harnesses easily attach to a travel leash or carrier teether.. if you measure your cat properly, we’ve never yet had an escapee! The Velcro is very generous and strong.

I've had cats my whole life, and every harness we've ever tried over the years was a giant failure. Somehow the cats turn into a tornado and then they're out. With this harness, my cats don't seem to mind it. At first use they awkwardly plop over on their side and then after a few minutes start walking around like normal. I've taken my cats to a variety of parks many times now and its nice being able to safely expose them to the outdoors.

Took my cat a while to get used to wearing it because she's never been in any kind of harness. It's a comfortable fit and there's no way she can twist her way out of it.
