This is my first automatic feeder, been using it since April 2021.Advantages:- Easy to use app, you can feed your cat from anywhere in the world!- Big container, food lasts for nearly a month for my cat.Disadvantages:- Unable to change plastic bowl and my cat developed acne as a result as before we had a ceramic bowl - Would be great in then future to be able to change this.- Blockage - It happens frequently if the cat hasn’t eaten the food for some time.- Food portions - I had to weight up each portion as they are not equal (eg 1 dose is 9 gr and 2 doses is 14 gr), would be great this to made clearer in the manual etc specially for overweight catsOveral would recommend this product!

Our cat would manage to steal food from our previous automatic feeder. However, this one he cannot. It has a large container to fill up the dry food and an easy to use app which allows you to set timer to dispense food or if you need to manually feed. You can even do this if you’re not at home. We particularly love an automatic timer because our cat likes breakfast at 5am each morning so saves us getting woken up.

I’ve been using this WiFi feeder for my cat for over 4 months now. I find it really invaluable. I live on my own and work shifts. The feeder means my cat is always fed at an appropriate time regardless of when I am home. It also means she’s not getting me up at the crack of dawn to be fed on my days off!She usually has 1 wet meal per day at teatime but if I have been held up or cannot be there to feed her that, it’s so easy to be able to dispense a meal of dry food from my phone. I am by no means a technical expert but managed to set it up and programme it fairly easily.You can programme each day with several feeds at whatever time you like and however many portions are needed. I find that 1 portion of my cats usual food weighs about 8 grams ( I tried it out quite a few times & weighed the portion on digital scales) but I think this may vary depending on each different type of dry food used. I haven’t had any problems with the feeder jamming & it seems to have been reliably dispensing meals. There is a log that will list all the recent successful meals given.I did have 1 instance when the app said feeder was offline & I was unable to use the app to control it but the blue light on the feeder was on to indicate that it was connected to the WiFi. I managed to rectify this by deleting the app then reinstalling it and also adding the feeder to the app again (which meant I had to reprogrammed the feeds again but that’s not difficult).I would recommend this feeder

Item did not work at all first time trying to use when leaving for weekend trip.

Our new cat was waking us at 3 am every morning. It took a while, but this device has put an end to that problem. Easy to programme. the machine gives our cat 5-8 grams of dry food every 2-3 hours. Happiness.
