RI5082 - SafetySure Pivot Disc 15 dia., 400 lb. Weight Capacity

We originally bought a pivot disk like they had used at the rehab facility not realizing it wasn’t rated for my husband’s weight. When it stopped working he took a fall. This one is working much better.

Also, the pivot screw needed adjustment when I first got it. Found out that it's good to use dry lubricants such as graphite on the disc separation surfaces in case it doesn't pivot easily enough.

The part for the caregiver to stand on is to small

Disc is nice size, and saves my husband's back while moving me from the wheelchair to the recliner... or any other sitting down place. I highly recommend it. Patient stands still while caretaker turns him/her.

Makes transferring my mother wheelchair to bed or car a little easier. Doesn't turn as easily as I would like, but better than nothing.

Mother could never stand up on it to use it. She was just too week and her back was hurt,

Bought this for my mother who just had ankle surgery. She's 70 and doesn't get around well, even without the broken ankle. It is a godsend! She is now able to get out of bed and pivot to her wheelchair or to a bedside toilet with little assistance. Highly recommended.

Transfer from scooter to chair. Didn’t work as well as expected. Didn’t pivot well. Think if I could have put equal weight with both feet would have pivoted better
