Works, but lacks features.
To begin with I want to mention I have a collar similar to this petist brand collar, so I had a good comparison to see how this one stacks up to it. First thing I noticed upon unboxing is the lightweight of the remote, it seemed cheap. The buttons are all black and a hard plastic and rattle around making a bit of noise. Compared to my other remote the petist lacks rubber buttons that are colored in order for it to be easier to see. It is one solid unit, the battery does not come out. There are a total of 4 buttons on the front of the remote. One is a channel button, which means you can have two collars and one remote although I am unaware how to connect two collars to one. There is a mode button that changes the settings between a light, sound, vibration, and shock. There also is a flashlight button on top that shines a mediocre light from the tip of the remote. And lastly there is a button with a y which administers the vibration, sound, or shock. You can adjust the vibration and shock up to 100. Beware that 100 setting on shock is very high, do not use such a high setting on a small dog.In a bag came 3 different prong sizes along with rubber boots to keep the prongs from digging into your dogs skin and causing scabs. I was impressed they included these boots, my previous one did not have those. The collar must be charged and the reset button pressed before it will connect to the remote. The collar is exactly the same as my previous one. One bad thing however is there are rubber stoppers that cover the charging and reset holes that are suppose to keep the unit water resistant, but once you pull them out to charge once they will not fit back in making them useless. As far as usability goes it works for training. My dog knows the sound means stop and if he doesn't the vibration warns him he is about to be shocked, and most of the time he will quit whatever he is doing wrong. One other note, the charging cable needs a USB cube in order to plug it into the wall since one was not included.Overall I would rather stick with my other model collar. It looks better than this one and seems more sturdy and durable. For the price of this one I would suggest opting for a cheaper version (which my other one was).I received this product free in exchange for and honest and unbiased review.

Shockingly Good Collar
I love this product. I had a little difficulty getting it going initially. The company was great. Very responsive. I used the collar as a last resort. I had gotten a dog from the Humane Society and this dog went insane around my chickens. I couldn't control him he attacked the chickens relentlessly. I put the Petist Dog Training Collar on him and we went out to do the morning chores. As usual, when we got near the chickens, he went into a frenzy. I activated the shock collar it its highest setting and said, "NO". He immediately stopped his attack. I led him through several more encounters with the chickens over a period of several days. It total, I activated it 5-10 times over that period. I haven't used the collar in two weeks. My dog is so good with the chickens that I can take him off-leash into the pen without a problem. I am so happy to have resolved this problem. The collar has a vibrate feature and I've used that to reinforce leash training. Just let me say once more how happy I am with the company and the collar.

GREAT product at a Great price! Great Company!
This is a great product. It's so easy to operate and has helped extremely in training my West Highland Terrier. After only 1 week of using, I put the collar on her and she does not leave the yard, she knows her boundaries. Also, the company is GREAT. The first one I received stop working. I followed their trouble shooting instructions and it still didn't work, the remote would not charge. I told them I would be happy to send it back. However, they immediately sent a replacement and it works GREAT!

Works well....
Instructions were poor, but figured it out by watching Utoob vidz. Works as advertised. the sound and vibration are pretty much useless. Not the vendor's vault, just has no net effect on a large dog. The shock component works very well, was much more powerful than anticipated. I tried it on myself first before my dog and decided that setting at 5 (out of 100) is plenty strong. I also used the rubber covers that came with it.

Easy for beginners
Before finding this one, I was searching other similar training collar and I find it difficult to pick one that could be differentiated from another. Are they just made in a same factory? But this training collar makes me excited, and it also comes with a training guide that made my learning curve easier. It works all fine so far and I am still learning to master it.

... dog ever since he was a puppy and I've loved it. Usually I buy the Esky brand
I've had this type of collar for my dog ever since he was a puppy and I've loved it. Usually I buy the Esky brand, but that one was unavailable and this seemed to be the same thing just with a different logo. It was a good price and shipped quickly, however about 2 months after my purchase, the collar unit no longer charges. The remote works fine, and the collar charged once before, however when it ran out of battery and needed to be charged a second time, it wouldn't light up when plugged in. It never got wet or damaged in any way, simply won't charge. I left it plugged in front two days even and still nothing. I've had better luck with different brands.

Disappointed
The remote works very inconsistently. Whenever I need it to work, it won't. I just bought it so it's not like it's old. It's fully charged yet only works for a moment and then it stops.
