I have 3 parakeets, who all eat like growing teenagers, I hoped this would help keep them fed easier. It seems like their little food pieces get jammed even though it's just the little tiny seed balls. For the price though it's worth a random jiggle to get them flowing again.The shell catcher works fine but definitely doesn't gold the volume of waste from the volume of feed you can put in the top.

The birds love it. It's easy to use less food being wasted. Just make sure you have a door on the outside of your cage that it can connect to. I had to tie mine on the inside of the cage because the door on my birdcage is too wide for it to fit in there, snug.

i just hope i'm feeding my bird enough. he was either wasting too much food from his other feeder or he's not pulling enough out of the feeder. the waste all over has not continued, just hope i'm feeding him enough.

i have medium budgies and they hate this feeder. they use it, i can just feel their rage evry time they do. the opening where the seed is dispensed is narrow so the birds have to twist their heads very awkwardly to eat it. it is only as wide as their beak. they hate it. i wish it was bigger. i may trim mine

He likes it and it does keep the mess to a minimum. Some how he still manages to chunk stuff out. Was concerned he might not like getting inside of it but wasn’t a problem at all. The thing on the bottom slides out so you can trash the hulls. I’m pleased with it.
