Heath HZ-4150-BK Zenith Motion-Activated Four-Sided Coach Light, Black Brass

I just installed this porch light and I can't find anything negative to say about it. It was delivered promptly, it was boxed nicely, it was made with good quality and no missing parts. It was easy to install and it worked great. What else can I say. It's a good looking lamp and Kudos to the company that manufactured it. And the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this light!

Came well packaged and quickly. Installation was a snap, took perhaps 10 minutes to replace my existing coach lights. The styling is GREAT and looks awesome. I like the adjustable settings for sensitivity and light time. It picks me up when I get about 30 feet from the light, which is perfect for turning them on if someone enters my driveway. As a 20 year member of Amazon I rely on independent reviews when shopping and I will always try to be as honest and impartial as I can and will try to provide helpful insight into the product. I opened this light to install it a few days after receiving it. Metal body and real glass around the bulb. Very attractive for the price. Problem is, two of the glass panels were broke and one piece of the decorative hardware was missing. Also, the metal lid was bent. The parts bag was torn open, so it looks like someone had received and returned it. I went ahead and installed it, and contacted Amazon about a replacement. One was sent, and I used the parts to repair the light. It is working very well, I’m very pleased with it. Motion detection is sensitive enough, I wish it had a five minute feature on it. The minimum for motion detection is 10 minutes. No huge deal. I can’t imagine not wrapping these glass panels for shipping that they are not frequently cracked or broken.

The best of its kind and at the best price for the function, I have three of them. The first pair is 13 years old and still works perfectly. I am in Las Vegas, experiencing extreme heat and dust. Please ensure the unit is sealed to the wall, as dust and rain can get into the electronic controls, making it difficult or impossible to change the settings over time.

Super easy and looks nice. Maybe I got lucky but this used the pre existing bracket and mounting screws so I didn’t have to install anything! I’m an amateur with electrical but you really can’t screw this up. Find which breaker controls this and hook up two wires. Black to black and white to white. Attach the ground the same as the old one and you’re done! Comes with a red wire that didn’t need to be hooked to anything, as it has instructions for that just Incase. I also recommend using a voltage tester Incase you’re worried about the power being off. Very inexpensive handy safety tool that you touch to the wire and it beeps if it’s still hot. I plan on replacing all my outdoor lamps with this!

I bought 2 of these lights to replace similar, non-motion detection lights, at my front entrance. They were very easy to install and are sufficiently attractive. I made several minor adjustments to achieve the desired motion field. Although both lights are on the same circuit; I really appreciate the fact that I can aim their motion detectors in opposite directions and achieve a wider detection field. I have found the detection range to be at least 30 feet and maybe a little bit farther. Only time will tell how long these will last; but the similar non-motion lights that I replaced were 32 years old; so, I'm optimistic. Yes, I would definitely recommend this light.
