Norse Mythology: Learn about Viking History, Myths, Norse Gods, and Legends Paperback – February 5, 2020

I am enjoying this book a lot. It not only speaks of the actions and fables of the gods, but also speaks of the creation of everything, including humans, Asgard, and natural phenomena. I just wish the author had included pronunciations of words and names!

Fantastic read for those getting involved or have been in involved in Asatru/Norse Paganism/Germainic Gods. Insightful and informational, a must have for basic understanding and a brief overview.

The author did well explaining the Gods and telling some of their legends. This book is a great place to start your learning.

I originally thought the book was translated from another language as the phrasing seen Ed a little « rough. ». The book can be nearly nonsensical and hard to follow. I would not suggest this as an intro to Viking mythology though. For that I would go with a simpler text like Gaiman.

This book is very good book if you are into any kind of mythology, very in depth I have read this book twice now. I have recommended Norse Mythology to several of my friends.

I have read a lot of books on Norse mythology and this one I have read stories that I haven't read in other books .Highly recommended

Small but full of interesting info (you'd have to find in reading multiple books)

Written very well. However a good portion I knew from other books and I was looking for more info about the gods or even Nordic creatures. Good history lesson in the beginning though.

Not that I have much to compare it against but it's a nice and easy read and a good introduction to norse mythology.

The media could not be loaded.  This book is different to others and shows a different light to other mythology books. Great start to learning about the gods if you’re just coming into the Norse mythology
