Oh, I so wanted to love this.I mean, does it time? Yes. Can I read the display clearly? Yes. So does it fulfill its function as an easy to use timer? Sure.My quibbles are twofold:1. The beep on this is so weak. SO weak. Especially if you have it stuck to a flat surface, muffling the speaker even further. I bought this to use in class to time activities and I barely hear it when the students are talking even in a low rumble.2. The timer has a goldfish memory. If I start a timer for 10 minutes, but have to pause it to address something/say the pledge/answer a question, the timer will clear down to zero if I don't start it up again within 30 seconds. I can't use it effectively to pause and hold the current time left but instead must remember what that time was and reset the timer from scratch each time I have to pause.I think this one would be useful only as a kitchen timer and ONLY if it is close by. I'm not sure I'd hear it across the kitchen from another room, even with the doors open.

I really like the way this timer works. The turn dial is fun and easy to use and it increases/decreases by 10 second increments, so you can be more precise with the time you set it for. Also, the numbers are large and displayed clearly so it's easy to see. The reason I gave it 4 starts out of 5 is because there is no option to mute or change the volume of the alarm/beeping. I am a clinical psychology doctorate student and my intention was to use it for timed psychological tests, but since it can't be muted it is useless for that purpose.

Was excited to receive this since we needed a timer to cook with. As soon as i got it was stuck in a weird mode where it just had lines across screen. Finally got it to work then whent to use for the first time and it was in that stupid mode again so i could bot use it that time. Second time i got it out of that mode before i started cooking so i could use it. The beeping noise was not loud at all. If you are not right by it you will not hear it. Went to use it a 3rd time and was in that stupid mode again so i smashed to peices. Got so aggrivated fighting with it for 5 minutes before i wanted to use it just to get it to work properly. Gave 2 stars because i like the design and concept but the timer myself is crap.

This timer while looking awesome is a pain in the rear end to use. When it works. I am bummed. I am going to try a new battery. I have only used it a handful of times so I'd be surprised if that solves the problem. The screen gets stuck in 99 and won't move. When you push it off (while beeping) I find I need to push it 2+ times most often 4 times to actually shut it off. I work in a hair salon and if I decide I'm don't with it 1 minute early I haven't figured out how to turn it off no matter what I do it still beeps. I know That may seem small but it really annoys me to stop a shampooing a chemical to turn it off.

This is just what I was looking for. It's super attractive and very easy to set. As a substitute teacher, I needed a timer I could carry around in my bag without it going off randomly. Because of the turn and set design, that has not been an issue.My only complaint is that it dumps the information from stopwatch mode immediately (that is, without being cleared). If it held on, it would be perfect.

Neat look and design. Stopped working after a few months. The magnet is ok, but could definitely stand to be stronger. It may have stopped working from falling to the ground too many times.

It stopped working correctly shortly after arrived. And it is not intuitive enough to use.The Seller/Manufacture contacted me after I put a one star review at the begining, saying they could send me a new one free of charge if I change the review, but I decline.It turns out the battery was a dead one, after replacing it, it runs well.

This hockey puck timer is pretty straight forward - handy that it is magnetized. Easy to use - just turn the outer shell to pick your time... Only two buttons to manage. If the next generation is backlit it - then hands down 5 stars.
