is this all I need to activate the gps on my yaris ia the dealer told me I would have to spend $1500 to change the display head

I found that the dealer was pretty uninformed on the iA. I bought this nav SD card here and it worked like a charm. You just pop it into the SD slot in the console, give it 5 or 10 minutes to initialize and you'll be in business. I did find the maps to be a little dated but supposedly you can update them online. I just haven't tried yet...

Will it work on a 2018 Yaris ia?

It works perfectly in my 2018 Yaris ia. My only problem is that I the maps are not updated. Went to Albuquerque NM and it could not find the address of my motel. Google maps could, but not my navigation chip. Tried to contact the seller but through Amazon, no reply.

Does it come with instructions on how to install?

Very simple! Locate your SD card slot, insert and follow the screen prompt, instructions not necessary. I will provide instruction for the free 3 years update. Many thanks
