Nice reel for my service truck
Nice reel for my service truck, tried other less expensive reel but they did not last with the bouncing and vibration. with brackets on both sides this hopefully should hold up much better. Seller did a good job on this purchase.

Sturdy
The spring seems a little weak and it winds up slow . Very sturdy construction and well made otherwise

Garbage
These things are terrible. It’s a decent design, but absolutely zero craps are given to their construction or packaging for shipping. I’ve ordered three of the Coxreels T-series reels. All three arrived with the drums damaged in shipping. These things are heavy and they’re packed with almost no padding.Besides that, I had a swivel that leaked straight out of the box. Then there’s tons of little things: the brackets are welded visibly crooked, so they look all wonky when they’re mounted. There’s welding spatter under the powder coating. There’s tool marks where the person who assembled them used an impact and left rings in the powder coating around all the nuts. The swivels weren’t tightened against the shaft, so they’re all wobbly unless you take them apart and assemble them with Loctite. The stickers are crooked…Finally, if you look at Coxreels’ literature where they brag up the specs on these reels, there’s some claims that are misleading, and others that are simply false.
