This one goes with me everywhere!!
For up close jobs or a lightweight headlamp around camp, this is the best light to weight lamp around. You won't know it's on your head. Run time is short on H1Lm (burst) and it does step down to the next H2Lm quickly, (250/102Lm) due to circuitry protection, but extra 16340 batteries can be swapped out fast. 102Lm @ 4 hours is a lot of light in the dark. Also CR123a batteries for colder temps and 10 yr shelf life are a plus. Think no power to recharge 16340s. The UI is very simple to adjust to your lighting needs. Most lights do not offer a beacon mode, this offers 3 different Hz (pulse speed) modes. The 3rd being strobe. The 2nd Hz mode is great clipped to you belt for night walks where you have a enough light to see but you want to be seen by cars. I have a larger 18650 headlamp (also ZL) for night hikes and longer run times, but it is more noticeable on your head. The frosted lens put out a nice diffused light so there is no harsh center spot dancing around every time you move your head! Headband adjustment is top of the line easy..One drawback - it is hard to hold onto when using off the headband because of it's size, so I put an O-ring on the body to act like a cigar ring. Buy an extra silicon holder and this will last a lifetime.

Fantastic device and very high quality
Fantastic device and very high quality. Previously used to Petzl and Black Diamond headlamps and this h32 is a fine light. Very well made. The modes can take a bit to get used to and may be confusing to some. The extra ability to set desired lumens is a nice feature. When cycling through the modes, it is very difficult to see the lowest setting right after the highest setting goes through as it is very bright.

Good starter light
For the price it’s a good purchase. I would dive deep with this but shallow snorkeling and check the bottom of the boat is well within this lights capability.

Battery does not last long
The battery does not last long. It would be awful to get down into the depths of the water and have it go dark. I would not recommend this because of the battery.

Dive light
Great inexpensive and simple. Works great I'm replacing the same one I've had over 7years and have used many times while diving in depths over 100' many times.

No brighter than 1200/1100 LM dive lights
Over the years purchased this type of dive light. Advertised as 1200 or 1100 LM. This one advertised as 1800 LU. But no brighter than other dive lights hat look the same. Still not a bad value, but better to get one that comes with batteries. This is a good economical dive light.

Don't waste your money
Don't trust the reviews. Most of them don't even appear to be for this yellow wrist strap "diving" flashlight. It is very cheaply made. Mostly plastic and not bright at all. Just slightly better than a $2.99 flashlight you can buy at a discount store. Feels like a toy that I would buy a child. Difficult to turn on and off. No on-off button. You have to twist the bottom, which is very tight. Cannot be turned on and off or adjusted while strapped to your wrist, especially when under water.

Fantastic Little Light
Brightness is excellent for such a small and VERY light package. Beam is pretty floody. Immediate access to both high and low from off is fantastic, with surprisingly easy access to four more modes (alt. high, medium, alt. medium, alt. low) while on. More details on modes is available on the manufacturer website - my overall review of them would be that they are as evenly (or unevenly) spaced as you want them (user programmable levels) from as low as super-dim to very bright. The switch is slightly recessed and I haven't had any problem with it turning on in my pocket (although I've only had it for a few days). A clip is included and works as it's supposed to.I didn't buy it to use it as a headlamp, but I did briefly play with the band for the sake of this review. Getting the light in and out of the band is a little bit of a pain, but after it's on your head you barely notice it's there - again, this light is VERY lightweight.
