This is a very sturdy filter setup for fry oil. The frame holds up well and stays put on top of a 5 gallon bucket as the oil is emptied. The filter itself is a very fine mesh and catches all of the small particulate matter. Sometimes it does get to a point where the filter gets clogged with the particulates and needs to be washed out before finishing the filtering, but running hot water over it while turned inside out does a great job of clearing all of that goop. We're very happy with this purchase for our small High School football concession stand frying needs.

*** Update, even though the material was stretched it has not torn and has worked flawlessly for months. Changing review to 5 stars. I would highly recommend this product if you like to deep fry.

Doesn’t filter at all

Does a great job of removing the crumbs from the grease but doesn't actually do any cleaning even when using the filter aide that came in the package. So grease will burn just as quick and need to be changed just as often as not using the filter
