Artist quality oil paint in stick form! Good range of colours - better tints than competitors - comes in protective plastic cylinder. You can draw continuously (whereas a loaded brush runs out), blend colours, no need to reload a brush. Clean to handle as wrapped around with paper. After a day or two the oil stick forms a waxy skin which you can easily wipe away, ready to use again, only disadvantage is that (like charcoal) the precise contact point with the surface you are working on can be vague, because of the girth. R&F brand is as good as Sennelier or Winsor & Newton, maybe a little juicier.
