This is a total package grooming set. Not only does it come with the electric nail file for baby but it also comes with all the other basics. I bought this as a second set to have at the ready in the nursery.I would say the quality is about average. Most of these little nursery sets are really only needed for a fairly short amount of time. Plus I find that at this price point the value is quite good and it does have many individual pieces.The electric nail file works very well. It comes with some nail files in it but once these are used I can always get extras separately.I do like that the set is made of BPA free plastic. There are many plastic items in the set so that is comforting to know.Overall this is a great starter kit but also just something that is used fairly often with the young baby.

This is the most useful baby grooming kit I have come across, it isn't full of pointless items just to bulk up the kit and sound impressive in the description and I appreciate that.A comb and brush are a must, especially if blessed with a baby with hair right off the bat. These work as well as I'd expect a basic baby come and brush to work.The thermometer is accurate when tested against one I already owned.My absolute favorite is the inclusion of the nail grinder. I will never cut a baby or toddler's nails again and risk sharp edges or skin nicks. The grinder works quietly and quickly to file down nails and makes it super easy to round out sharp edges. It has a safety built in so you can't push to hard or grind the skin to cause injury. The various tips are nice for different nail strengths.

I got this for my daughter-in-law and the following is her review:This baby healthcare kit has everything you need when it comes to caring for your newborn. It comes with so many different items which included a thermometer, nail files, an electric nail file that is battery operated, a comb, a soft brush, scissors, nail clippers, and a nasal aspirator. All the items are neatly compacted in a perfect carrying case that zips. I loved that the electric nail file however came in its own case separate from the other items, just so it could be stored safely, and the pieces for the file wouldn’t go missing. The electric file works great and so does the thermometer. This kit would make a great gift as it has everything you would need for caring for a newborn baby’s grooming needs.

This is a good set to cover the basic newborn grooming needs. It doesn’t feel particularly special or glamorous - it’s just plastic - but it is a useful and well curated set. The only thing I found unhelpful in the baby set is the thermometer as I believe you are only meant to take rectal temperature when they are babies, and I’m not sure this thermometer is set up for that. Otherwise, it’s a good set to cover the basics and it is giftable. For the various tools you get, it’s a good price. We found the electronic nail file particularly helpful in the early days when nails were way to small for clippers!

So I ordered this thinking it was the perfect compact everything for baby nails kit. I didn't understand why anyone would use an electric nail file for such a young child so just ignored that part when ordering. When it arrived it was as I hoped - compact, nicely packaged for travel, and included everything I could need. I initially examined and started using everything aside from the electric file, and really like the quality of the items. Then I got to the file, it was confusing, the colors and what each did contradicted what I'd read online. I'll likely ignore that those came with the kit and just enjoy the convenience and quality of the rest of it!

Perfect gift of those little necessities all in one case - besides the nail file/polisher.The polisher comes in it`s own separate case, with the included disks for various nail file and polishing needs.Safety nail clipper, and a soft brush is a need. I was kind of surprised at the thermometer- seemsa little out of date type now that most use an exterior heat sensor thermometer. But some health tools stand the test of time.The soft finger gum and tooth brush is a plus .All tools can and will be handy to have on the ready.Happy with this item - will make a nice shower or new baby gift.
