I HAD another brand of buffer for my dremel and got really good results with it. I use it for polishing faux gemstones that I make with polymer clay. However when I used these, the piece would up looking worse than if I had done nothing at all too it. Using the yello (coarser) one first, it actually managed to gouge little channels in the surface, which I had to sand like crazy to get rid of; and then the softer white one just made the whole thing dull. Wish I had taken the picture before I resorted to putting a shine on the piece with a UV resin - it's shiny now (pic attached), but I really do prefer the glow from within that should come from proper sanding and buffing.

I used these with various Dialux compounds for polishing a stainless steel watch band. These wheels left the watch band scratched all over.. After I ordered, i realized the description of this product names these as cotton in one part and wool in the other. I'm guessing they are wool, which is probably why they were so bad for polishing stainless steel.

The material is poorly made! When using the fibers fly from shedding every where it has cause me to have an allergy attack. It make me feel like I have a shedding pet. It did the job correctly! But it needs to not shed as much as it do.

The white buffing wheel works well. It comes apart a bit during use, however it works. I will buy them again. The yellow wheels work well, however I have been using the ball shaped white ones mostly.

I am restoring a vintage motorcycle, it is the best bits I found so far for polishing aluminum and chrome parts.
