I bought this product for my office. The wifi capability in the router provided by my ISP was unreliable. I use this product as a wireless access point.It was very easy to configure. The instructions are easily understood and quick to read. I plugged my laptop into it, opened a browser and there it was. I ran the wizard and bingo, done. Configuring it was easy. It instantly connected to my DHCP server and all is well. The browser based interface is easy to navigate and understand. Out of the box came the device, power supply, instructions and ethernet cable.This product will also perform as a Client wifi to ethernet connection though I don't use it as such. I suspect it would make a remarkably easy to use device to connect a networked printer to wifi. It will also perform as a wireless network extender, though again I don't use it for that.I would purchase this again. If you found this review helpful, please click the button below.

Debido a la pesima calidad de la wifi de mi router, me vi obligado a montar mi propia red wifi. Cumple con todos los requisitos, facil de instalar, y buena señal y velocidad, he conseguido cuadruplicar la velocidad de mi wifi y mejorar la cobertura. La banda 2,4 es buena, pero la de 5Ghz es bestial. No hay interferencias y se consiguen unos 175 MB/S !!. Si tu dispositivo no tiene 5Ghzs se puede comprar un adaptador USBD_Link dwa-171 y pasarlo a 5 Ghzs. Merece la pena, no se calienta tanto ya que lleva el transformador en vez de ir conectado directamente al enchufe.

Avevo intenzione di provare un router AC e questo D-Link era il più "economico" qui su Amazon. La configurazione è stata facile e rapidissima. La modalità preimpostata è la "Access Point Mode": mi è bastato dunque collegarlo allo switch per farlo funzionare. In seguito ho modificato alcuni parametri per renderlo più adatto alla mia rete: IP statico, DHCP abilitato su un determinato range di indirizzi, tutte operazioni molto semplici e trasparenti. Una volta configurato, ho provato a copiare un mkv da 15Gb dal NAS al MacBook (la rete cablata dal router allo switch è Gigabit): ci ha messo poco più di 7 minuti ottenendo così una velocità di trasferimento di circa 35,7 Mb/s (precedentemente su rete N300 avevo circa 1/3 di questa velocità). Insomma, sono completamente soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Consigliato.
