Perhaps a friendly chat over a cup of coffee and the gift of a bottle of Simple Green Odor Eliminator of Simple Green CAT might convince her to be a more cooperative neighbor. Does this smell like the original simple green I already use in my dog run?

The scent in this product is nothing like the original Simple Green. Original Simple Green has a sassafras scent. Outdoor Odor Eliminator has a light spring fresh, somewhat clean soapy scent in my opinion.

How much area does a gallon cover sprayed with a hose? Gravel/stone area of 24' by 20'- how many times would you use it/it last?

Depends on how many dogs you have. I have 4 dogs in a 15’ x 26’ space. I use the whole refill and soak the area every month. Works great

Does this work well on artificial grass; does it get rid of smell or only mask it? How frequent does this need to be done?

I think this product works great. It rid the smell after one use. Frequency would depend on how many animals you have and how big your space is, I would imagine.
