Sadly, my lovely town is having a credit card/debit card fraud issue. I’m hearing new stories daily of my friends, my husband included, having their card hacked and discovering the crime via their monthly statement. So much distress is going around due to this and it’s sad. There are quite a few theories on how this is happening and it’s been under investigation for a while now.After my husband had his debit card hacked I purchased these just incase the cards are being read from within the wallet.I keep the card in the sleeve and in the slot in my wallet and it fits fine. If I’m in line to pay I keep the card in the sleeve until it’s time to insert the chip. At that time I only expose enough of the card to get it in the machine.I feel this is giving me a small sense of security since no one really knows how their cards have been hacked.I hope this review was helpful!

Not sure I really needed to be worried about an RFID blocker case for my new (US) passport but what I did need was something to provide protection from wear and tear as it bounces around in side my purse. Ironically, a lot of the other brands of cases I looked at complained about too tight of a fit. This case had the opposite issue. The case fits OK but it is a bit loose and the passport tends to slip partially out. I would also have liked if the case was a bit longer so that all of the passport was more completely inside the case (there tends to be a tiny bit of the passport that sticks out the top which is probably why it tends to slip partially out). I'll probably look for another case that better fits the passport so I don't have to worry about it slipping out.

So far it doesn't completely blocks RFID but it does greatly reduce the range. My card 💳 in just the sleeve alone placed against the reader will pick up the RFID. But my card in my wallet with the sleeve on placed against the reader will not pick up RFID signal. So the sleeve is good. Someone can't just "bump" into you or stand close to you and get your info. They would have to get your ID out of your wallet to take your info.

I used these to cut and place inside of a fabric passport holder. Very beautiful embroidered passports holder but it didn't have this type of Technology in it. Hoping it's enough to help with any possible fraud. This fit perfectly inside so it did the job for me.

Passports and credit cards fit well in these sleeves and I assume they do the job. They're very thin and the material should block any attempt to access the chips. Because the credit card envelopes must be slightly larger than the actual credit card, it could be a problem storing them in your wallets credit card slots. However, this problem would exist with any RFID blocker of this type, so this shouldn't be deter you form choosing this product.

Used these for passports while in Europe. No way to test and see if they work but hopefully they do. One thing that could be improved is to have some Documentation which certifies they have been tested... and to have the a better slot in the sleeve as it was difficult to insert the Passport into it as it would grab the sides.

These sleeves are made of a durable and high-quality material. Besides preventing the cards or sensitive documents to be read by a thief, these sleeves also provide protection when the documents are in storage.

Be advised that these sleeves will trip metal detectors at airports. This happened to me twice when i had taken my passport out and had the sleeve in my jacket pocket.
