I never imagined that a down comforter would be lumpy and clumpy but here we are. I have many down comforters. I wash and dry them and they plump right up. This one whilst it did plump up, the filling in each section, whatever it is, is balled up and won’t loosen up with mere shaking. I’ve never had a down comforter act this way. Because of this I strongly suspect this is not 100% down. The fabric is noisy but that doesn’t really bother me. I only mention it in case it might bother you. The cotton fabric is not extremely rough or extremely smooth. I use it without a top sheet and it’s fine in that regard. It was very inexpensive and I don’t hate the comforter. I even ordered another one.

I bought this comforter as a gift for my girlfriend because she is always freezing at night and I insist on dropping the heat down and turning on fans! The comforter looks beautiful on my bed in the morning and is perfect for her to wrap herself tightly in at night. I didn’t have a huge expectation with the low price, but I was highly impressed by the product I received. While the outer fabric could be a bit softer, the goose down inner stuffing is warm and conforms perfectly for cuddling at night. I am happy with my purchase and my girlfriend loves her new blanket!
