Must-have item for reloading bench
I have been reloading for years. I have only had two cases get stuck. One was a .45 about 4 years ago. I soaked it in wd-40 overnight and was able to semi-gently get it removed the next day. The second case happened two weeks ago with a .223 case. It was fully stuck in the die. I soaked it in wd-40 while I waited for this stuck case remover to get delivered. Guess I shoulda bought it sooner, cause eventually almost everyone needs one. I was able to use the included drill bit to drill the case, then tapped it with the included tap, then placed the collar on the die, screwed in the included screw, and gently backed out the case from my die. Cleaned and inspected the die, there was zero damage.A side note on why my case got stuck. LUBE YOUR BRASS. I had not loaded .223 for about a year. While I was setting up the press to process the brass before reloading I used a .223 case to test everything. While the case was perfectly clean, it was not lubed at all. Typical rookie mistake. For lubing my pistol brass I normally run the brass for 15 minutes in corn cob media mixed with some Nu-Finish car wax. That works perfectly for pistol brass. For rifle brass I use the homemade liquid lanolin and 99% alcohol (fuel line dryer) mixed about 8 or 10 to 1, with the 1 being the lanolin. That is great lube for rifle brass and if I would have lubed the case before checking the settings on my press I would not have run into the above mentioned stuck brass scenario.

Best friend of any reloader
Like all people who reload it's not if you will stick a case, but when will you stick a case. I have been reloading for over a decade now and have managed to make it until the last year or 2 before I stuck a case. When you stick a case and don't have a way to remove it, your production comes to a dead standstill for that caliber. I picked this product up because I am a die hard Hornady fan since they are a home grown company and I am all for supporting local companies. There isn't much to this product as it does exactly what it is intended for and is a life saver. Could I have gone to the local hardware store and picked up all the necessary pieces to do the same job? The answer is yes, but probably would have cost me the same or more and I would have had to create my own way of storing all of these pieces together (product comes in an easy store package that can be reused over and over again).

Quick and easy
It took more time getting everything out of the package and set up than it did to extract the stuck case. Would recommend this to any reloader new or old to the hobby.

Eventually everyone gets a stuck case
This is a great item. Is it better then the RCBS or Lyman stuck case remover.....probably not. There are only so many ways to design something like this. Case removal took all of about 5 minutes, from opening the box until case removed. Much better than sending it back to RCBS to have them pull it out. Instructions are good.... it is a must have.

Works well
This stick case remover works well. Does not come with tool to help turn the tap. Otherwise good quality

extracter is mandatory
Just exactly what is supposed to be in the pack. Great speed in getting it to me considering i was stuck in a case ……. ha.

Right tool for the job
Most reloaders who have done any kind of time or volume have probably screwed up somehow somewhere along the line. For me, sizing 5.56 brass in bulk (200 cases, plus) usually means a stuck case. Rather than borrowing one every year I figured I’d it was time to spring for this. Glad I did.

Must have for any reloader
Extremely easy to use. Everything you need to remove a stuck case from a sizing die. Takes about 10 minutes from start to finish. Typical Hornady, excellent quality and performance.

Removed stuck case easily
Did an awesome job pulling a stuck case

Pretty easily too
Does exactly what it says on the box. Pretty easily too, although clamping the die tightly enough to stop it turning without damaging the threads takes a little care.

Worked as advertised
Great tool and must have for every reloader. I had a stuck case in small base sizing die and could not remove it with my usual tricks. Purchased this and got the case out in less than 5 minutes. Simple drill and tap case. Insert adapter and screw to remove case. I wish I would have bought this sooner. You will need a tap wrench for the tap.
