The media could not be loaded. My cat can now can come on walks with me and enjoy the outdoors safely! I’ve tried a lot of harnesses and the vest style is the best design to prevent your cat from pulling backwards against the leash and getting out of it. If you put it on snug enough, they really can’t, at least not easily. The reflective stripe is an added measure of safety in case they do get loose, but I would never suggest tying your cat outside and thinking he couldn’t escape. It functions great for my purpose of giving my cat a little freedom but within reason. I keep the vest loose because my cat pretty much stays with me during our walks and I let him trail a 20’ rope behind him and if he does run or head into the woods after a chipmunk I can grab it and reel him back or go pick him up before he gets too far. It’s super easy to put on and the Velcro makes it totally adjustable. It’s a great value and very well made. I have two in the bright colors of pink and orange for best visibility!

Our cat needs to go outside sometimes as she was feral before moving in with us. I got this harness to after trying a simpler type and another harness that was cheap and ill fitting. This harness fits her well (S/M) and she's about 9 lbs. She walks just a little awkwardly in it, but she can run and jump if she wants to. It can get caught on things as any harness can but overall I really like the design and materials seem to be high quality. The Velcro is strong and getting it off her can be a little bit of a chore but she can't shake it off either. This with a leash of some kind is really the only responsible way to give a cat outside time as it keeps them safe and protects birds and lizards from the cat as well. Quality product and she is happy to be going outside regularly again.

This thing is awesome - we got a second cat and had to immediately get a second Kitty Holster. Every other cat harness either has a buckle that snaps and startles the cat, or has two permanent leg-holes that you're supposed to somehow wrangle the cat's front limbs into. This one is different and worth the price just for the ability to attack from above! Just place the harness on kitty's back and wrap it around. Quick, easy, secure.The Velcro is VERY strong - one time our cat got spooked (encountered a horse for the first time) and sprinted off in an absolute panic, but the harness didn't budge and she stayed safely attached to us at the other end of the leash. The sizing is generous - our adult cat (in photos) weighs 9.5 lbs and the XS fits perfectly. New kitten is 4 months old, 3 lbs, and the XS is way too big. If your cat has never worn a harness before, it will probably flop over as if paralyzed when you first put it on - it takes A LOT of practice for kitty to realize he can still walk with a harness on. For our cat, the harness has a calming effect, like a swaddling blanket. The reflective strips are really good quality and add an extra layer of security at night. The pink is neon pink! The yellow is not neon yellow, but is a nice bright yellow anyway. With the right cat personality, and plenty of patience and treats, this is the perfect tool to help your cat develop into an adventure cat!

The Velcro on this is awsome crazy strong and it looks good for a working cat

Solid design but the band is so thick around the neck that it severely restricts how the cat can move. A better design would be narrower bands w buckles, like in my picture. Great color and reflextivity though, but will be returning.

My cat allows me to put this on and take it off no problem. The large patches of velcro provide a secure fit and the shape of the harness makes it so he can't turn into liquid and slip out of it, like he can with the strap or string style harnesses. He's gotten spooked while wearing this and tried to bolt, but couldn't get out of the harness.I could see the velcro being problematic for less chill cats, as it takes a bit of tugging to undo it and it makes a loud noise... or for cats with long fur because it's a lot of surface area.The cat walks a little stiff with the harness on, I think because it goes over his shoulders. Aside from that his range of motion isn't restricted. He will lay around wearing it even when he's inside, and it doesn't seem to be uncomfortable. I haven't seen him try to jump or do anything all that acrobatic with it on yet, but walking, sitting, and laying down seem to be just fine.Now that he understands that "harness" means "go outside" he gets excited when he sees it and runs to the door as soon as I pick it up.I like the bright color and hi-vis strip. Really makes the cat more visible. I could see that being valuable if you travel with your cat, or take it outside at night.
