I bought this item when it was marked down to $19.99. If I had to have paid full price for it, the star rating would be a three. The light itself gives off a good amount of light with good intensity. I have a beef with the design, though. The wiring/chord that connects the light to the solar panel clips to the outside of the pole, which is very unattractive. The clips themselves take away from the smooth lines of the pole as well as the chord that wraps around the outside of the pole. The pole is hollow, so there is enough room inside to fit the wiring if designed properly.I was able to remedy the ugliness of the cable and clips by putting a short trellis in front of it and have a plant climb around the pole.

I am reluctant to write this review because I am afraid the pricing will go up on this item with a good review. First I can't speak about longevity of the item. They are relatively new. I can tell you they far exceeded my expectations. The design of the pole seems a little flimsy but I have already thought of ways to make more stable. They say they won't operate correctly for a couple of days until they get a full charge in them. This is true and each day they got brighter and stronger. Let's get to the good part. I was skeptical at first. Don't be. They truly light up the radius as described. I couldn't be happier with the performance of the light and have bought more. You can't go wrong if this type of lighting is what you are looking for.

I bought 2 of these for my back garden. Living in the sunshine state these lights go from dusk to dawn. Great lighting for my backyard.

THIS LIGHT WORKS GREAT AND IS A GREAT QUALITY PRODUCT THAT DOES NOT RUN UP MY ELECTRIC BILL!! IT PUTS OUT MUCH MORE LIGHT THEN MOST OF THE SOLAR LED LIGHTS I HAVE EVEN SEEN! THEY PUT QUALITY IN IT THAT MOST DO NOT ALSO!! WE BOUGHT OUR FIRST HOME AND THIS WAS ONE OF OUR FIRST BUY AND WE WILL BE BUYING MORE AS SOON AS IT GETS WARMER BECAUSE WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE WAY THIS ONE DID IN WINTERTIME!! BUY SOME THEY ARE GREAT!!!!

Wow I'm buying another one for my front walk ,I'll have to get the extension and put the Solar panel on the roof of the house, can't wait .This is the best solar light I've ever had ,this is December 15 2016 ,I put it in 3 weeks ago had only a few days with sun ,but every night the light is bright .LOVE IT. I live in Chicago.

I place 4 of these around our practice putting green for night practice and just general ambiance. They do the trick. The connectors should be some type of metal, they are plastic. In the heat, they tend to droop. However a quick and easy fix was to get 3 foot steel rods (about $2.50) from Ace. Zipped tied these to the light rods and they stand straight and tall.Great length of solar cable 16 feet for mounting solar panel elsewhere.

Needed to get some light in a dark side yard and chose this light after reading reviews for various products. Easy to install, panel charged up easily and the light output is what I was looking for. Workmanship is okay, design could be improved with regard to wire restraint and overall assembly. But the price is right, just need to see how it holds up over time.

I'll admit, I was skeptical at first. Assembly was very easy. The light is surprisingly very bright. I like the versatility of being able to move them as well as shut them off when we don't want the light on. We ordered and installed three of them in our backyard for our dogs to have light at night and we were not disappointed one bit. Reasonably priced for the quality.
